(More customer reviews)The Apple Ipod Camera Connector screams intelligence on the part of Apple, but falls far short. DO NOT think of using this for any real photography purposes or with pictures above 3MP in size. To transfer 1gb Sandisk II ultra CF card takes roughly 45 minutes, and kills almost all your Ipod's battery (not to mention the impact on your cameras battery for that 45 minutes).
Its a great idea, but the ipod battery is not originally engineered to support such a power supply, and does not stand up to heat...
Look elsewhere for a portable harddrive to store pictures, such as Epson P-2000.

It connects to the flash hotshoe and it has a coldshoe to mount on its corresponding supporting device (Justin Clamp for example). The 3.5 mm plug goes into the Elinchrom receiver. I haven't had any problems with it, so this is a must-have if you're buying this Elinchrom EL 19360 Skyport Universal Trigger Set to be used with Canon Speedlights.

(More customer reviews)I started with a non-removable 28mm Nikon Coolpix lens. Then I add the 28-37mm adapter. Then I add the 37-52mm adapter. Then I'm ready to use the filters I bought for my 52mm lens on my Canon 20D, namely the IR filter, which is 58mm. So then I add the 52-58mm adapter. I end up with 3 ring adapters and one filter, but its better than duct tape and I only have to buy one $70 filter for all my cameras.

Upon receiving if very fast from the seller I tried it out and woo, it sure was better than the cheapee one's on the market. I tried it out one cold morning (20 degrees) and it was very easy to use in the cold weather when fingers tend not to work so well. I would recommend the product to other people.

(More customer reviews)We needed an adapter to connect a digital still camera to a microscope port intended for a C-mount video camera. This adapter did the trick for a very low price, but the way the adapter flares back toward the C-mount side prevented screwing it in far enough to match the port's intended focal plane. We have to manually adjust the focus back and forth between still-camera-with-adapter vs. everything else, but at least it works.

(More customer reviews)This is a finely machined adapter that goes on very easily and does what it's intended to do. All M42 lenses goes on without any problems, and is a perfect fit. However, on the Canon Eos 5D Mark 2, the camera's mirror will hang up on the lens' aperture actuating pin. I've asked someone about this, and apparently, one must pull out this actuating pin with a pair of pliers. This will disable any M42-mount camera from stopping down the aperture. The lens will stay at its widest aperture forever. On the other hand, if you have an M42 lens with a manually-operated aperture, the Eos 5D mark 2 will operate flawlessly, because manual aperture lenses do not have that pin.

I soon realized that a small screw on the adapter was preventing the adapter from seating into the lens mount. I simply removed it and now the adapter works fine. I use it with a Pentax CCTV 25mm f1.4 that I purchased from B&H Photo for about $90.00. This adapter opens up a whole new realm of possibilities with the micro four-thirds systems.

Caused me to return something that I could have kept. I will note that a non-reply by the seller edged me to return. A simple reply would have cleared things up.

(More customer reviews)The light is plenty bright enough, and is dimmable. I was able to shoot video with the Panasonic DMC-FZ100 camera in AVCHD HD iA mode and the light worked great. The picture was plenty bright enough even for this camera. The bracket is pretty cheap, and I would recommend getting the additional bracket that mounts to the camera to take the weight off the camera hot shoe. Cowboystudio Heavy duty Photography Video L bracket with 2 Standard Flash hot Shoe Mounts The light takes an assortment of batteries, but I used 6 AA NiMh rechargeable batteries on it with great success. The light has a double swivel and the screws are hard to tighten enough to stop the swivel from moving. One person in another review roughed the joints up and used star washers with a good outcome. I will try that also. The light itself is outstanding. It comes with two diffusers and I found that taking the diffuser off made the light brighter. It projects light out over 20 feet. I will post a link in the first comment showing the light and the results from using it.

(More customer reviews)This adapter makes it possible to use the Zeiss lenses from my Contax 167MT on my Panasonic Gf1. It's well made, works perfectly and is easy to use. Attach the lens to the adapter, then attach the adapter/lens assembly to the camera body as you would any other lens. In the camera settings menu, turn on option to "shoot without a lens". Focusing is done manually. Aperature priority mode functions normally, if you wish to use it (pick your f-stop and the camera will set the appropriate shutter speed). This adapter allowed me to "recycle" my old lenses and in doing so, quickly expand the capabilities of my Gf1. It works so well that I am going to order one for each of my lenses so I can leave them attached, instead of going through the assembly/disassembly routine each time I change lenses.

(More customer reviews)This is the best adapter I've ever owned for any type of camera. It lets me use my old Minolta MD Rokkor lenses on my Canon Eos 5D MkII. There are no problems with the adapter interfering with the camera's functions. The adapter goes on like a Canon lens, and the Minolta lens goes on the adapter like it would on a Minolta camera. There is a pin on the left (as you face the camera) of the adapter that you press to remove the lens. To remove the adapter, you use the camera's lens release button on the right. The aperture becomes manual, which means it stays at the set aperture before, during and after the exposure. That's not a problem at all, with the Canon's bright viewfinder. I keep the lens at F/8 most of the time, and it's not at all dim, except in the shade.
This Fotodiox adapter has a compensating lens in the rear, which makes up for the shorter flange distance in Canon cameras. You can remove it for macrophotography.
Using this adapter is a very inexpensive way to use different focal length Minolta lenses on a Canon body, avoiding the way of having to purchase new lenses for your camera. Because of this, I recommend it and rate it highly.

(More customer reviews)Well made. Does exactly what it says it will do. Adapts M42 screw mount to Canon EOS mount. I'm using it with a Canon 1Ds MkII and an Auto-Takumar 35mm f/3.5 prime. Aperture priority is the easiest way (for me) to use the lens. You get 0.0 for aperture, and the Shutter setting the camera picks is based on the light that comes through the lens, and your selected metering mode. That light is controlled by the stop down setting of the lens. It all works. No problems.

(More customer reviews)I bought this so I could use SD cards in my Canon 40D DSLR. It fits into the card slot of the camera perfectly. The SD cards slide into the adapter smoothly and seat firmly. I've tested it with several SD and SDHC cards, all from different manufacturers, ranging in size from 256M to 4G. All were recognized by the camera, and formatted to the proper capacity. I shoot in RAW plus superfine large size JPG mode. Every shot writes about 20M to whatever card is the camera. I see no appreciable difference in the write speed between SD cards in this adapter, and CF cards.

(om-f1 i think is the model) Works excellent with my old om-zuiko lenses and teleconverters. Makes my old lenses even BETTER than my $500 digital lenses, but you have to shoot in full manual mode, which i always do anyway. Buy this one not the $100 olympus version. ITS THE SAME EXACT THING!
