(More customer reviews)Hi, I bought this cable for my Elinchrom Skyport Universal trigger set, because this trigger set doesn't come with the right connector for my Canon 580 Speedlight 580EX II. It connects to the flash hotshoe and it has a coldshoe to mount on its corresponding supporting device (Justin Clamp for example). The 3.5 mm plug goes into the Elinchrom receiver. I haven't had any problems with it, so this is a must-have if you're buying this Elinchrom EL 19360 Skyport Universal Trigger Set to be used with Canon Speedlights.

This cord works with all Canon strobes and most Nikon Strobes. Slide your shoe mount strobe onto this cord to be triggered by a Pocketwizard. The shoe at the bottom can be removed to reveal a 1/4 20 metal thread which will mount on most adaptors. (More customer reviews)I decided to save some money on Nikon accessories and I purchased this Satechi remote shutter as a result. The unit has a two-stage button just like the exposure button on the camera. It has a nice tactile feel so you can't accidentally hit the exposure if all you want to do is focus. The down side is that the connector has no threaded ring. It is held on by a compression fit. It is quite snug, so it will not easily fall off if the camera is moved around. My D300 has a white alignment dot next to the connector but the Satechi connector does not. So I made a mark on the connector with a white permanent ink marker. Works great! Nice investment if you want to save money.

(More customer reviews)This meter is dead easy to use, largely because it is not cluttered with features most of us don't need often if ever. This meter is one you put at the subject location or hold in the sun to obtain a single reading. If you want to read various locations in a scene and have your meter provide an "average" reading, this meter is not for you -- you'll have to figure the average in your head.
It has the advantage of using easily obtained and relatively cheap batteries, which in a pinch can be pirated from other devices most of us have around the place, such as small flashlights and TV remote controls.

The pocket-sized Sekonic L-308S FLASHMATE is the smallest and lightest digital light meter in the Sekonic line-up. Designed to read ambient or flash exposures in either reflected or incident modes, the L-308S delivers accurate exposure readings in full, half, or third-stop increments to mirror the exposure displays of most popular cameras.
