(More customer reviews)This adapter makes it possible to use the Zeiss lenses from my Contax 167MT on my Panasonic Gf1. It's well made, works perfectly and is easy to use. Attach the lens to the adapter, then attach the adapter/lens assembly to the camera body as you would any other lens. In the camera settings menu, turn on option to "shoot without a lens". Focusing is done manually. Aperature priority mode functions normally, if you wish to use it (pick your f-stop and the camera will set the appropriate shutter speed). This adapter allowed me to "recycle" my old lenses and in doing so, quickly expand the capabilities of my Gf1. It works so well that I am going to order one for each of my lenses so I can leave them attached, instead of going through the assembly/disassembly routine each time I change lenses.
