(More customer reviews)I started with a non-removable 28mm Nikon Coolpix lens. Then I add the 28-37mm adapter. Then I add the 37-52mm adapter. Then I'm ready to use the filters I bought for my 52mm lens on my Canon 20D, namely the IR filter, which is 58mm. So then I add the 52-58mm adapter. I end up with 3 ring adapters and one filter, but its better than duct tape and I only have to buy one $70 filter for all my cameras.

Allows you to use larger size filters on lenses with a smaller diameter thread. The first number is the size that screws into the lense, the second number is the filter size.

Nikon UR-5 Adapter Ring Repl. - 4914 Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 micro lens. I don't understand why it's not included in the Nikon R1 Close-up Speedlight Remote Kit though. Anyway I was stuck with my 105mm f/2.8 micro lens without this adapter ring, now I can use my 60mm lens with this ring too. Simply it does the job.

The coco ring flash is an adapter you slide onto your flashgun. It is built specifically to fit on the flashgun mounted on the camera with whatever lens you have on the camera sticking through the hole in the ring flash. Even my biggest lens, the Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 (77mm diameter) easily fits in the adapter with room to spare. With the flash and adapter mounted on your camera, it grows a bit in size but is still manageable and steady. Just be warned that you will get a lot of 'what is that thing'-questions.
Overall I like it. It is a relatively inexpensive piece of lighting gear that produces results no 'bare' flash can get you. It especially shines for in-your-face portrait photography and flower macro shots.
Be warned that the fit is a bit loose, but with some additional Velcro tape (that is there for my portable soft box) it feels a lot more secure. The ring flash is clearly cheaply produced, but it is very competitively priced compared to its more expensive cousins, the Orbis and Ray Flash. Despite the relatively cheap price tag, the ring flash is fairly sturdy and has now withstood several months of shooting in various locations.

Coco CR-SB900 ring flash adapter generates an exceptionally lighting effect; a '3-dimensional shadow-wrapped look'. For the reason that all light produces from the facade, i.e. from around the lens, it creates an almost shadow less look on the front of your subject, whereas a squashy even shadow come into vision around the borders. It is entirely suitable for style, portrait and attractive looks images. Due to its big inner diameter (104mm), the ring flash adapter will be familiar with almost all lenses starting from small, average and large designs of cameras.
