(More customer reviews)I got this product from Amazon's promotional offer for only $26.99. I enjoy the transaction. It is very compatible with Canon Reble XTI just as designed exclusively for the camera. It's easy to instal and use. I won't worry about the battery being used up during the trip with two packs of 2LH batteries in the grip and 6 AA batteries for back up (for emergency only). With the battery grip the camera looks more professional and solid especially with the L-lenses on the camera. The camera is heavier than without the grip to avoid motion when taking pictures. The vertical shutter button is very convenient to use. The best thing is that the price is only 1/4 of the Canon original counterpart. I strongly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Pros: Great Viewfinder. Well made, the anti-fog coating covers are wonderful. It is simply great, fits perfectly on my T2I. I suggest buying the "Z-Finder Mounting Frame" if you have the Canon T2I so you don't have to unscrew the mounting plate every time you have to change the battery. Plus if you have only one viewfinder and a spare camera, you can swap between the two.
Cons:It is very expensive...there are much cheaper ones, but I am unsure of the cheaper one's quality.
Final Thoughts: I took off one star for the price, but in my opinion, when filming video on these DSLRs or any video for that matter, one of the most important things is seeing what you are recording. Focus is SO important. So I decided to not skimp out with this one item, and I am very happy I did not skimp out. Dont get me wrong, you may be able to get similar results out of another viewfinder, but I have not found any that are 3x and that have anti-fog and a diopter. Plus most others use magnetic strips which...I don't like the idea of magnets near my electronics.

The one thing I really like is that you can turn the sensor module in any direction wich means that it can be triggered from any direction besides just in front. NOTE that it won't work with the Janis battery grip sensor though. Perhaps the Grip is faulty...I don't know...although that was also the case with my friend's Janis battery grip as well.

Jenis Infrared Wireless Controller provides the same basic function as the original manufacturer's product, such as short to medium distance remote control, trigger and delayed shutter release\'etc. There are two user selectable channels to prevent interference from the other IR controller nearby. I've already got the UV lens on my Rebel T1I, but this lens had several pinkish streaks on it when I opened it up. Good thing this set came with a cleaning kit as I had to clean it up with the lens pen before I could use it. The other filters look fine, though I haven't used them yet. This is a good deal of products for the price and I would recommend this set to amateur photographers like me who are just getting started.

(More customer reviews)I bought this grip for my D90. Considering the price difference between this item and the official Nikon model, you might expect a low quality product. But it seems solid to me, it's fairly light and the plastic is no doubt thinner than the D90 body. It feels like a dream, I actually prefer holding this grip because I have big hands and it's more ergonomic.
This is an exact replacement for the MB-D80 as far as I can tell, they even went to some effort to get the finish identical. It has an optional 6x AA battery holder, 2 command dials, autofocus switch, shutter release on top, and an On/Off switch if you want to disable those features.
I installed it and it worked with no problem, fits tight to the camera. My friend who owns a D80 almost died when I told him how much this cost, he's going to sell his Nikon grip and get a Jenis instead.
I also considered getting one of the Jenis LCD models like Jenis J-ND90-P-B Professional Battery Grip for Nikon D90/D80 (Black). The main feature I wanted was time lapse photography, notably missing on the D90 and not provided by Nikon. Unfortunately the Jenis professional model is limited to 99 frames, which is too restrictive. I'll save the difference and buy a intervalometer like Satechi TR-M Timer Remote Control for Nikon D90 instead. And still save money over the MB-D80!

(More customer reviews)This vertical grip is surprisingly well built. It makes a solid connection to the camera (in my case a D90 but it also works with a D80). The controls have a solid feel and there is a certainty when you push a button or turn a dial. The rubberized panel adds to the solid feel and provides a bit more "camera to hold on to." This is especially important if you are used to larger SLRs (e.g., D200).
A few years ago I bought an after-market battery grip (made by someone else) for my D200 and was very disappointed. It didn't connect solidly to the camera, the controls didn't always work, and the rechargeable batteries need to be inserted into a small tray and *that* was slid into the camera. I was concerned that all aftermarket vertical grips were made to that same low standard. My plan was to buy the "real" Nikon grip for my D90. However, after reading a lot of good things about this version decided to take a chance on this version. I'm glad I did.
Not only does it work perfectly but it also looks like the camera.
I can't imagine the Nikon grip could be made better or fit better.
Obviously this makes it more convenient to hold your camera in a vertical grip. Since it holds two rechargale batteries you can shoot longer before having to change them. It also include a carrier that allows you to use six AA batteries. This is handy if you ever find yourself with dead rechargeable batteries (and still manage to have the carrier with you).
Perhaps a lesser known benefit is that you get increased stability. This is due to the extra weight provided by the grip and battery. A final benefit is that you can use Da'Grip (as described in The Hot Shoe Diaries: Big Light from Small Flashes, a book every photographer should read), this is money well spent.
There are several grips available, most more expensive and a few less, that provide many or all of these same benefits. What makes this product stand out is that is has best-of-breed quality while remaining one of the least expensive.

(More customer reviews)Since I usually get it wrong, I wanted a pre-cut LCD protector I didn't need to cut to the right size. I also needed one that was thin enough to allow the Nikon D5000 LCD to close as if nothing was there (a feat few other protectors achieve).
This does both perfectly.
Nikon made it difficult for aftermarket LCD protectors on two counts: First, anything but the thinnest material will prevent the LCD from rotating and closing in its original position. Second, the LCD panel is ever-so-slightly beveled on the edges, making it nearly impossible for any LCD protector to fit perfectly right up to the edge of the display. Nevertheless, this item is nicely cut for the entire surface of the Nikon display.
If you're very particular like me, you'll notice a 1mm bevel that prevents any protector from adhering perfectly flat to the edges. Nonetheless, this item gets it right by being as perfectly cut as possible. The protector stays in-place and does its job well.
Since there are no instructions, here are a few tricks to get this installed correctly: there's only one protective sheet (some LCD protectors come with two). So, as you pull it away to expose the adhesive side, place that side against your camera's LCD. Start on an edge (not a diagonal) and gradually 'roll' the item onto the display using a credit card. Continue flattening it against the LCD and pushing out air bubbles along the way. If you find fingerprints, fuzz or a piece of hair adhere to the adhesive side as you're applying it, use a bit of transparent tape to pull it off (not your fingers!) and continue. When finished, give it some strong strokes with a credit card to push out remaining bubbles and make it firm.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this at Adorama directly for $54.95 with free shipping. Current Amazon price is $59.95 + 7.95 shipping and it still comes from Adorama. Nikon MB-D80 is selling for ~$150.00 This works just as well as the Nikon version. The camera recognizes both batteries and displays the amount of charge for both batteries. I can put one battery in either slot and the camera will recognize all the battery information. AA battery option is nice when you have no other choice. This works great on my Nikon D90 comes in handy when you are using Live View a lot or when tethered to a laptop and you don't have an external power source. Very Snug fit and feels durable. With the vertical grip shooting in vertical mode is more natural. My D90 with vertical grip fits perfectly in my hand wether shooting portrait or landscape mode. It would have been nice to be able to change focus points on the vertical grip, but I have not seen that option on any vertical battery grip on the market.
