(More customer reviews)I shoot 2-3 sports events a week and while I love my D3 needed more reach (had been trying to shoot soccer & track meets with Nikon 70-200 & Sigma 100-300). I concluded after a lot of thought & soul searching it would be more strategic for me to buy D300/Sigma 120-300mm combo than a 200-400mm for the D3. [the 100-300mm is a great lens too, but that extra stop is so sweet!]
For me, I definitely wanted a f/2.8 lens and felt a zoom would be more versatile than the Nikon 300 f/2.8 (& cheaper too).
There's no question it's a heavy lens by most people's standards, but I always use with a Monfrotto 681B monopod (which I love too).
Have only had this combo for about a 2 weeks but love it. The pictures are tack sharp, and the bokeh is awesome--rivaling Nikon 70-200mm IMHO. People always mention you have to get a good copy from Sigma but buying new I was fairly certain this would not be a problem, and I knew I could always send it right back to Amazon for another copy with no problem.
[....]In summary this combo has helped me take my game to a whole new level, and I'm very, very happy with this lens.

Z-Finder Pro 3x Review

(More customer reviews)Pros: Great Viewfinder. Well made, the anti-fog coating covers are wonderful. It is simply great, fits perfectly on my T2I. I suggest buying the "Z-Finder Mounting Frame" if you have the Canon T2I so you don't have to unscrew the mounting plate every time you have to change the battery. Plus if you have only one viewfinder and a spare camera, you can swap between the two.
Cons:It is very expensive...there are much cheaper ones, but I am unsure of the cheaper one's quality.
Final Thoughts: I took off one star for the price, but in my opinion, when filming video on these DSLRs or any video for that matter, one of the most important things is seeing what you are recording. Focus is SO important. So I decided to not skimp out with this one item, and I am very happy I did not skimp out. Dont get me wrong, you may be able to get similar results out of another viewfinder, but I have not found any that are 3x and that have anti-fog and a diopter. Plus most others use magnetic strips which...I don't like the idea of magnets near my electronics.

I had planned on getting a macro lens but I saw these filters and thought of giving it a try. The result: I am satisfied with this product and would recommend this to people who is into macro photography with a limited budget.

(More customer reviews)Love the bag. It is very light but perfect size for my needs. I am starting off with DSLR photography and don't carry around a lot of stuff so this bag is ideal. I love how easy it is to take out the camera and put it back. It has ample space for 2 lens or a lens and a flash. That's about it, if you need more space then you might need a bigger bag. The space above the camera compartment is quite small and can only hold small things like extra battery, the cleaning kit etc. The cleaning kit is strictly ok, I might buy a better one in the future but for now it works well. Same with the tripod which is flimsy but works very well indoors or in low wind conditions. I guess you get what you pay for. Another cool thing about the bag is that the tripod can be attached to it without much problem even though the description says that only a monopod can be attached. Of course this makes the bag heavy and it might get uncomfortable to carry the bag for a long time (experienced this when I flew with this bag recently). Overall a good deal for a beginner or a amateur photographer.
