I wondered if this camera bag would fit the Canon 7D with the 15-85mm lens together with the reversed lens hood attached - it does! It is a very close fit with some bulges and I do not know yet how durable the material will be in the long run, but for now it does the job perfectly.
(The 15-85mm lens is well under 4 inches long, but a very wide lens and there is no indication of the maximum lens width in the product description. The 15-85mm lens with lens hood attached has a 12.2 inches(31 cm) perimeter and 3.9 inches (10 cm) diameter.)
I would like to note though that it will definitely take more than just a second to get the camera out of the case or back in for storage, it is NOT a fast "walkaround" storage. It does however provide some protection to scratches or bumps and it is so light and the material is so flexible that the camera bag will not take up much space in a pocket or camera backpack. For me the latter was an important plus, so I am very happy with my purchase. Also the feel of the material is very nice and you can carry the camera on its neckstrap while it is in the neoprene bag.
All in all exactly what I was looking for with the only exception that it takes some time to get the camera in and out of the case.

Love this bag, took it all over Europe with us recently, was able to quickly move it from my back to my side to my front for access or just to avoid the pickpockets...
It holds easily my Nikon D70 with its everyday lens along with the telefoto lens on one side... Since I don't have another lens yet, I was able to keep a bottle of water, sunglasses, whatever I needed in the other pocket, and the flap covered it, so it didn't touch the camera.
The front pockets are a little tight for my extra battery with a memory card in the same pocket, but no other complaints. Seems very sturdy so far, and the compartments are easy to un-velcro and move around.

Caselogic XNSLR-1 SLR Camera Laptop Backpack (Black) Review

Caselogic XNSLR-1 SLR Camera Laptop Backpack (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I really like the molded piece that cradles the camera body and tube which can support a zoom lens (mine is the 18-105mm VR). Also good that you can unzip the left and right sides all the way down to open wide. On the not so good side, the zipper is very stiff. Lots of jerking motions to get it to unzip. Maybe a little WD-40 would help if I was keeping the case.
From video on the Caselogic website and one of the pics on Amazon I hoped my Nikon SB-26 external flash would fit in the front or back pocket, if not under the molded piece for the camera body. The flash won't fit under that molded piece. Also will not fit in the pocket that has the overhanging flap. Fits SNUGGLY in the other pocket but no way to zip this pocket closed. I need a case to accommodate both my DSLR and SB-26. Unfortunately this case doesn't fit my needs so I am returning it.
One other note, Amazon's description "Laptop Backpack" really is inaccurate. This is a holster-type camera bag/case.

Bought this bag after reading the good reviews. This bag provides excellent protection for your gear. EVERYTHING is overengineered for its purpose; so you really get your money's worth. Plenty of cushioning. This bag works great for my beloved Nikon D50 with the standard kit lens. I'd give it 5 stars if I had just a little bit more room for all the wires, connectors and rechargeable batteries/dock that come with a digital set-up. Its a little bit of a tight squeeze with what I've got right now. Overall worth it!!!

Canon WP-DC90 Waterproof Case for PowerShot A620 and A610 Review

Canon WP-DC90 Waterproof Case for PowerShot A620 and A610
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Canon WP-DC90 Underwater Housing is engineered specifically for the Canon A-610 and A-620 compact digital cameras. It gives access to all camera controls and is rated to 130', the maximum depth for recreational scuba diving. I have used this housing on one dive trip to Cozumel, shooting 950 stills and about 70 minutes of video during 17 dives. The housing was easy to use and maintain, and fit the A-620 camera perfectly. The image quality of the video was outstanding, and would have been even better if I had had an u/w video light. I did have a u/w strobe for shooting stills, and these photos were also outstanding. The A-620 camera and WP-DC90 housing did a fantastic job for me considering my limited budget.
CONSTRUCTION: The WP-DC90 housing is made of clear molded polycarbonate with an optical glass port in front of the camera's lens. All camera controls are accessible from the housing's buttons and levers, including the main control dial, zoom control, 4-way controller, and record/play switch. The camera's built in-flash loses some effectiveness as it is partially blocked by the lens port, so the addition of an external strobe or video light is recommended. Buy a "slave" strobe, the type senses the camera's built in flash, as this housing and camera do not support TTL flash metering. The camera is loaded into the housing through a large hatch in the back that is sealed by a single rectangular rubber o-ring. This is the only user-seviceable component of the housing, and it (plus the groove in the housing) MUST be carefully cleaned, dried, and re-lubed with silicone grease every time the camera is loaded into it before a dive. Spare o-rings can be purchased from Canon's Parts Department for about $20.
Besides the large rear hatch for loading the camera, the housing has 14 other penetrations for control levers and push buttons, corresponding to the camera's controls. These are all sealed with o-rings that are NOT user serviceable. For this reason, the WP-DC90 housing should be considered to have a limited lifespan for scuba diving. I met a family in Cozumel that had a pair of Canon A-85's in four year old WP-DC30 housings; one of these sprung a leak during through the shutter-button o-ring during a dive; these housings had made about 100 dives total. I don't know if the WP-DC series housings can be returned to Canon for reconditioning (replacement of all non-user-serviceable o-rings), but I suspect that this would not be economically practicable since a new housing costs only $169 retail.
The failure mode for small o-rings like those on the WP-DC series housing involves the gradual build up of salt crystals around the control shafts that erodes the o-rings until they can no longer seal tightly. With this in mind, the WP-DC90 housing and A-620 camera do provide a means of capturing underwater video at 640 x 480 x 30 fps quality, and 7 megapixel stills, in a package that costs only $400 (plus the cost of an SD card if you don't already own one). This is a fraction of the cost of almost any other type of underwater video system, and I highly recommend it if you want a record of your dive vacation at a reasonable price.

I have the Sony NEX-5 with the 18-200mm lens, and was looking for a case/sleeve for it so that I can put it in any bag. This case is perfect, the camera with open hood and the big lens is going in. I added a strap which is for around the neck and with that I connected the case with the camera strap, so when I take out the camera the case falls down, and after use I put the camera back. Perfect, I am so happy. I will, add also a photo.
Only it would be good if the producer could add such a strap.

Casio Exilim Pro P600 6MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom Review

Casio Exilim Pro P600 6MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
You know when you buy something, having a high expectation, and when you get it, you're still amazed at how great it is? For me, this happened when I bought this camera. I knew this camera would be small, fast, and loaded with a ton of features, but I didn't know just how great it would be.
I wasn't actually shopping for a 6MP camera, but all of the 5MP compact cameras really didn't cut it. But the combination of features on the EX-P600, combined with the 4x Optical Zoom (16x Digital) and 2.0" LCD said go for it. But when I started using the camera I realized I made a really smart move. Casio obviously spent a great deal of time coming up with an intuitive interface to access everything. In just a few steps you can set any feature on the camera, and the 2.0" LCD screen offers enough real estate to know what your doing.
In simple point and shoot mode, the EX-P600 offers great pictures with little wait time between shots. Auto focus is a snap, and you don't need to think about anything else. I like the Best Shot mode, which lets you select from 25 different presets for optimal results in various settings. Portrait, Nighttime, scenery, etc.. It even has a coupling mode so you can take a picture of your friend, and have your friend take a picture of you, and have it be the same image. No more asking somebody to take your picture!
If you want to get really into it, pretty much everything on the camera- focusing, exposure, white balance, color filters, are adjustable. You can even create custom presets and have it show up in best shot mode. You can not only access everything from a Menu, but it has a quick settings button where you can tab thru all the current camera settings.
Some downsides are the camera doesn't come with an SD card, so you have to buy one separately, which adds on to the price tag. Also, it doesn't come with an AC Adapter, just an external charger, so you have to take the battery out to of the camera to charge it, unless you get the AC Adapter. It also has an "ex" mode where all this data comes up when you take a picture. The plus side is you can see all the settings on the screen, the downside is it looks like you're flying an F-16. But you don't have to have it on, the regular mode tells you everything you need to know.
All in all, if you want a camera to last a couple of years, this is yet. The high resolution 6MP CCD will offer room when higher resolution printers come out, and the advanced feature set will let you have more creative control when you're ready for it, but it's not even too hard to figure out. This is a really smart camera, not just a good one. This camera even has a remote control, so no more running into the picture and wondering when the flash will be for those group shots!

It also has a 2816 x 1872 (3:2 aspect ratio) mode. In addition to JPEG capture, images can also be recorded directly from the CCD to TIFF format to avoid any degradation of picture quality.
This lens features a high-performance Canon 4x optical zoom lens with 10-stage aperture settings. It also has a 4x digital zoom, for a total 16x zoom. The lens has an automatic barrier for protection, and can be used in conjunction with the three optional Canon conversion lenses (X 0.7 / X 1.5 / close-up) to increase the camera's flexibility.
Movie Mode In addition to still images, the EX-P600 can also capture video clips with audio at 320 x 240 pixels. The length of your movie is only limited by the size of memory available (either internal RAM or external memory card).
More Features In addition to a start-up time of approximately 2-secondsand approximately 0.01 second release time lag, the EX-P600 hasa high-speed continuous shutter function to take 3photos per second--up to 6photos in succession.
By pressing the shutter button once, you can use the auto bracketing function to take either 3 or 5 photos, applying different effects to each one. In addition to exposure variation (AEB), white balance (WBB), and focus positioning (AFB), the Multi Bracketing feature also enables you to choose variations of color, portrait, sharpness, saturation, and contrast levels, letting you pick the very best shot.
The camera's photographic information, such as shutter speed, aperture, and focusing can be displayed graphically on the 2-inch, high-definition LCD monitor (115,200 pixels), making it easy to quickly adjust settings manually. By pressing the EX Button, the levels for white balance, ISO sensitivity, metering, and AF area settings can be displayed and adjusted on a single screen.
Other features include:
Convenient wireless remote control is included for slow shutter and self-timer photos
External flash equipment can be used with the Sync Terminal
Photos taken with the camera in a sideways position are automatically displayed upright thanks to a built-in horizontal/vertical position sensor

Direct Printing The EX-P600 is PictBridge compatible, which enables you to transfer pictures from your digital camera to your printer, without a PC or image-editing software. All PictBridge devices share three basic features: camera-to-printer connecting, single-image printing, and uniform error messages (in case something goes wrong)
Storage and Transfer Images can be stored in the built-in 9 MB memory, or on optional Secure Digital (SD) or MultiMedia (MMC) memory cards. Images can be downloaded to either a Mac or PC via USB 1.1 connectivity, which means the camera can be connected to any USB-based Windows Me/2000/XP and Mac OS 8.6 or later computer without installing any software.
Power and Size The camera is powered by a proprietary, rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included). It measures 3.84 x 2.66 x 1.78 inches (1.03 inches at thinnest point) and weighs 7.94 ounces (excluding battery)

This holster fits a D200 with 18-200mm lens perfectly. Some other reviewers have complained that the case is too big, but with a higher quality DSLR and a medium length telephoto this bag really shines. The front pocket holds plenty of CF cards and spare batteries. There is a little pocket on the underside of the lid which is perfect for holding filters and polarizers when not attached to your camera.
I use this bag clipped to the shoulder straps of my Arc Teryx Bora 80 backpack. In my setup I have the bag hanging across my chest just below my sternum. During a trip across Glacier National Park (51lbs pack, 6 nights) the case always had my D200 ready. I typically leave the top flap zipped a couple inches on each side to keep the camera secure. Even while crossing rough terrain, scrambling over scree and kick stepping across snow fields this bag left little to be desired. It hangs steady and does not bounce too much.
If you are looking for something to hold your camera while out backpacking I don't know of any better solutions out there.

Think Tank ~ Digital Holster 10 - Small SLRs

I use this case with a Panasonic GF1 with the kit zoom. It fits perfectly without having to expand the bottom even with the lens hood on. The construction is excellent and the overall quality appears to be pretty high. The hinged screen protector and removable rain cover are excellent features. The outside pocket holds an extra battery and a few cards. It also has a belt loop but i probably won't use that feature. This case is large enough that i can also fit the pancake lens in the case using the provided seperator. Since the case has a shoulder strap i purchased a large Canon wrist strap and use that for camera security while shooting rather then having another shoulder strap on the camera. Ths set up works great for me but i am sure others will have their own preferences.
This particular holster is stated to be a good fit for smaller DSLR's. My DSLR is a Nikon D5000 which this bag states it is specifically for. In practice it does fit but it is a bit more snug then i would like especially since with my DSLR i would be using a shoulder strap instead of a wrist strap. This typically gets piled on top of the camera and the screen protector. It fits but IMO i would get the Holster 10 for any micro four thrids camera and would go with the 20 for a small DSLR such as the Nikon D5000. I am definately going to purchase the 20 soon.

Case Logic SLRC2 Camera Bag & 2 Lenses Case (Black/Grey) Review

Case Logic SLRC2 Camera Bag and 2 Lenses Case (Black/Grey)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this bag for my Canon 20d and I can't stress enough how pleased I am with my purchase. I looked at almost 25 different carrying cases at BestBuy and Circuit City for my nice camera and even did not find the leather Canon case to my liking.
The very best feature of this case is that it has a great base, specially if you decide to do some traveling and say there is some water or moisture where you have placed your camera, you won't have to worry of water soaking the base of the case as it is made of some sort of 100% water proof material. Not only will it prevent water from entering case if it is sitting in a pool of 2 or 3 inches water but it is hard enough that if you accidentally drop the case on its base, it will protect your valuable camera and lens.
The other super nice feature I like about this case is that the camera is never pressed against the base of the case. It is actually 'suspended' inside the case and when I mean suspended I mean exactly that. You will have to buy it to see what I am talking about but all I can say is that no other case I looked at has a feature like this for the price of this case.
Other minor awesome features are the two compartments on the side to safely store 2 additional decent sized lenses along with pockets that you can use to carry the battery charger than comes with your Canon 20D, the user manual and space to store lens caps or the caps that cover the part where the lens attaches to the camera body. There is also enough space for your 3rd party camera strap along with cleaning cloths for your lenses.
Overall I would highly recommend this case to anyone who has purchased a Canon 20D and I think it might also adequately hold a Canon 30D.

With the standard 18-55mm (non-VR) kit lens + filter my Nikon D40 fits snugly inside. The construction is what you'd expect from LowePro, bulletproof and well-padded. With minor effort, the charger fits in the outer pocket. This case works well either over-the-shoulder or on a belt or backpack loop.
Note: If the lens was more than 1/2" longer this case probably wouldn't work.

Zing 502-205 SXGY1 Large SLR Cover (Gray) Review

Zing 502-205 SXGY1 Large SLR Cover (Gray)

I purchased one Zing 502-Grey for my dad and one Zing 502-Blue case for myself.
We both have Olympus E-520 bodies and this case fits with the zuiko digital 14-42mm, 40-150mm, and 50mm macro lenses.
Since no camera bag is capable of suiting every photography purpose, I decided to get a slim neoprene case so that I could throw my DSLR in my backpack for hikes. I usually use a Kata 3N1-10 for the rest of my photography needs, but it's nice to be able to stick my camera in a regular bag and not worry too much. The neoprene is 1/4" thick and seems to provide sufficient padding. Of course, I'd still be weary of dropping my camera, case or no case... The Olympus lens-mount is a little off-center on the body, but the case fits fine. The neoprene can stretch so it accommodates a bit.
I noticed that other reviews did not mention the dimensions of the Zing 502 Large-Size Case, The case can fit Camera bodies that are 6.5" to 6.75" Wide. If your body is on the 6.75" side, it will be a little snug.
Along the bottom, my Oly E-520 body is 2.25" from the back of the camera to the start of the lens, and my hand grip is about 2.5" from the back of the body to where my right hand sits. My camera is 4" from the bottom of my attached tripod quick-release mount to the top of my hot-shoe. My lenses are all about 3" long, including lens cap and 1 filter.
One cool thing about the case is that it's reversible. The interior is black, so if you buy Grey or Blue, you can still flip to Black. It comes with a removable leash so you can attach the case to your camera's neck-strap so you don't have to worry about putting the case somewhere case while shooting. There's also an eyelet on both the inside or outside of the case, so you can hook up the leash on either side, depending on what color you decide to sport. Hope this review helps, check out the pictures I uploaded for more details on the dimensions and look.

We bought three of these cases for our Archaeology department's 35mm cameras. Our field crews are out in the field with lots of dust and other equipment. This camera case is light and fits the cameras with the longer 90-mm lens perfectly. It's well padded and keeps the dust out. It also has a convenient pocket to store addition batteries and film. The construction is sturdy with easy to use rubbery zipper pulls. The bag may be too big for people using a standard lens. Could also be great for full size digital cameras (that look like the old 35-mm).

Like many dSLR owners, I've been in search of the 'perfect' camera bag. While that will differ for others based on the size of the camera, lenses, accessories, etc, I'm very happy with my purchase of the Tamrac 5765 Velocity 5X.
I'm planning on traveling with my new Nikon D300 and want to take along my Nikon 18-70mm lens, 70-300mm VR lens, and 50mm lens. I'm happy to report that all three lens and the camera fit snugly into the main body of this great bag. I'll probably keep the 18-70 on the camera although it does work with the 70-300 on camera -- just a little tighter fit when I zip the lid closed. The front pocket can be used for personal items and can even fit my SB600 flash. The top opens away from my body - a feature that I find makes it much easier to remove the camera.
While I want to fit ALL these items in my bag, I also want it to be as discreet and small as possible. That's asking a lot of any bag, but the Velocity 5X manages to do this. It can be worn on the shoulder or across the shoulder, and can be used with or without the hip belt, which tucks away very conveniently into it's own storage pocket on the back of the bag. It's not too big, and not to small - just the perfect-sized bag in my opinion.

The high performance and versatile Velocity 5x - Photo Hip Pack Convertible doesn't look like a camera bag, but it holds and protects a digital or film SLR with zoom lens attached up to 5" long, additional lenses and a flash. Inside the main compartment, the camera with lens attached is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers. It converts from a shoulder bag to a hip pack with the Tuck-A-Way hip belt (adjusts to 53"). Cinch straps on the hip belt help stabilize the pack. For fast and convenient access to camera gear, the Quick Flip Top opens away from the body. The front pocket has organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, PDA or photo accessories within easy reach. It also features Tamrac's patented Memory & Battery Management System that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A pocket inside the lid stores filters and lens caps.Add Tamrac's optional accessories using the attachment slots for the Strap Accessory System (S.A.S.) and Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.) products to customize this high performance hip pack to perfectly fit your needs.ITEMS INCLUDED
