(More customer reviews)I wondered if this camera bag would fit the Canon 7D with the 15-85mm lens together with the reversed lens hood attached - it does! It is a very close fit with some bulges and I do not know yet how durable the material will be in the long run, but for now it does the job perfectly.
(The 15-85mm lens is well under 4 inches long, but a very wide lens and there is no indication of the maximum lens width in the product description. The 15-85mm lens with lens hood attached has a 12.2 inches(31 cm) perimeter and 3.9 inches (10 cm) diameter.)
I would like to note though that it will definitely take more than just a second to get the camera out of the case or back in for storage, it is NOT a fast "walkaround" storage. It does however provide some protection to scratches or bumps and it is so light and the material is so flexible that the camera bag will not take up much space in a pocket or camera backpack. For me the latter was an important plus, so I am very happy with my purchase. Also the feel of the material is very nice and you can carry the camera on its neckstrap while it is in the neoprene bag.
All in all exactly what I was looking for with the only exception that it takes some time to get the camera in and out of the case.

This case is perfect, the camera with open hood and the big lens is going in. I added a strap which is for around the neck and with that I connected the case with the camera strap, so when I take out the camera the case falls down, and after use I put the camera back. Perfect, I am so happy. I will, add also a photo.
Only it would be good if the producer could add such a strap.

(More customer reviews)I purchased one Zing 502-Grey for my dad and one Zing 502-Blue case for myself.
We both have Olympus E-520 bodies and this case fits with the zuiko digital 14-42mm, 40-150mm, and 50mm macro lenses.
Since no camera bag is capable of suiting every photography purpose, I decided to get a slim neoprene case so that I could throw my DSLR in my backpack for hikes. I usually use a Kata 3N1-10 for the rest of my photography needs, but it's nice to be able to stick my camera in a regular bag and not worry too much. The neoprene is 1/4" thick and seems to provide sufficient padding. Of course, I'd still be weary of dropping my camera, case or no case... The Olympus lens-mount is a little off-center on the body, but the case fits fine. The neoprene can stretch so it accommodates a bit.
I noticed that other reviews did not mention the dimensions of the Zing 502 Large-Size Case, The case can fit Camera bodies that are 6.5" to 6.75" Wide. If your body is on the 6.75" side, it will be a little snug.
Along the bottom, my Oly E-520 body is 2.25" from the back of the camera to the start of the lens, and my hand grip is about 2.5" from the back of the body to where my right hand sits. My camera is 4" from the bottom of my attached tripod quick-release mount to the top of my hot-shoe. My lenses are all about 3" long, including lens cap and 1 filter.
One cool thing about the case is that it's reversible. The interior is black, so if you buy Grey or Blue, you can still flip to Black. It comes with a removable leash so you can attach the case to your camera's neck-strap so you don't have to worry about putting the case somewhere case while shooting. There's also an eyelet on both the inside or outside of the case, so you can hook up the leash on either side, depending on what color you decide to sport. (More customer reviews)I bought this for my Nikon D90 with the Nikon 18-200 and 70-300 lenses. Although the description of the case states that it will fit a lens up to 7 inches, the case will not close with the 70-300 zoom. (This lens measures about 6 inches in its fully retracted position.) It does close with the 18-200. The "snout" of the case is rather narrow and will not fit over the Nikon-supplied hood (carried in the reversed position) for either lens. Because the 18-200 and, to a lesser extent, the 70-300 are prone to flare in some conditions, this is a serious issue.
The case appears to be a clever idea that should offer meaningful protection for a small sized DSLR with a short zoom. However, it is a poor choice for a D90 with two of Nikon's most popular lenses. Ratings reflect the case with the Nikon D90 and the 18-200 and 70-300 VR zooms.

It is an excellent and rather inexpensive protection for those costly Digital SLR's. I use mine all the time and it's especially useful for traveling in the car rather than having the camera sitting out in the open as the Op/Tech pouch is simple to use and opens in a flash.

Zing 520-205 ZXGY1 Large Zoom SLR Cover (Gray) Review

(More customer reviews)I just purchased this cover based on my previous ownership of a smaller Zing SLR cover. I had an older standard sized cover that worked great for my first generation Digital Rebel with Tamron 28-300mm zoom. I used the old cover when hiking and backpacking with my camera and really appreciated the quick release strap that went around your back to keep the camera from swinging. The cover protected the camera well against light rain, sweat and shock. I never had a problem with it. I have since upgraded to the Canon 40D and it took quite a bit of tugging and stretching to fit it in the standard cover. I just got the new Tamron 18-270mm stabilized lens and there was no way this new combo was fitting in the standard pouch.
Enter the Large Zoom SLR cover. I am able to fit the 40D with a quick release tripod mounting plate and the 18-270mm lens with the lens hood attached into this cover. It is a bit tight, I think because the quick release plate extends the height of the body, but it fits. This lens has a 72mm filter size, but the body is even wider than that due to the stabilization mechanisms, and the lens hood is wider too, but they still fit in the zoom tunnel OK. This cover has velcro tabs on the portion that closes around the lens whereas the older, smaller model had to be pulled around the end of the lens. There is a little bit of room at the end of the lens pouch with this lens/body combo, but not much. The only real problem I have with the cover is Zing changed from the around-the-back quick release strap to a little difficult to attach and detach strap that hooks to your camera's neck strap. This does nothing to prevent swinging and swaying if you are wearing this while hiking. I plan to modify mine to add this functionality.
Pros:
Fits my 40D with Tamron 18-270mm lens + hood
Good Weather / Shock Resistance
Excellent Longevity and Quality (based on previous Zing experience)
Cons:
No around-the-back strap to prevent swinging when wearing it around your neck

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my Panasonic DMC FZ28. It's compact, lightweight and cute in the microdot fabric. The camera is almost too snug inside, making it slightly difficult to take out in a hurry. The inner pocket holds a spare battery, which could easily drop out if the bag is opened and tipped. I sewed a velcro closure for the pocket to solve that problem. My biggest concern is that this bag seems too soft to protect the camera. The bottom part is a firm neoprene in a u-shape, but the top and sides of the bag are made of soft neoprene. In short, It's an okay bag for carrying on your person. For travel and storage, I place mine in a sturdier camera bag.

(More customer reviews)The Sausalito 20 Camera pouch is what you would expect from Lowepro. It is well-made and reinforced on the sides to provide protection for whatever you put in. I am quite shocked by the size however, only the smallest/thinnest of cameras would fit in this. Before you purchase do make sure to measure prior to purchase! Unless you have one of the newest super-tiny cameras, this will not fit. There is no room for an extra card, charger or battery - it is more something to protect a tiny camera while in your pocket or purse. I liked the color, the Ocean Blue was very nice!!

(More customer reviews)Camera cases offer better protection, but they're too inconvenient for walking around. These neoprene shells are a nice compromise.
FYI, it's too small for the Canon XSi (I bought this one because another reviewer said it works with the XTi). The lens portion is long enough for Canon's 55-250IS lens, but due to the size of the XSi body the "extended flaps" don't wrap around the bottom of the lens enough for the velcro attachments to line up. I returned it and ordered the 520-202 version instead, which fits the XSi better.
Also, although Amazon's stock photo looks purple, it's actually a much nicer dark blue color.

Pelican PCA50 50mm Neoprene Lens Case Review

(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful little camera accessory that I stumbled on at a small local camera store. They're hard to find, but worth it IMO. They seem to be almost the same as the Op/Tech Snoot Boot pouches, however they look to be made better- the seams are well-stitched and 'sealed', and the drawstring run is a strong fabric, rather than neoprene. The belt loop is wide enough, even on this smallest size, for a ~2" wide belt, and the clip is handy, although I don't trust it (or the belt loop I'd be hooking it to) with larger, heavier lenses. These pouches are a great way to carry a few extra lenses that are too big to fit in a pocket, without having to carry your whole camera bag. Much better protection than the microsuede pouches that most lenses include.
The sizes seem to be under-rated by a bit. My Nikon 16-85mm VR zoom lens shouldn't fit in this pouch according to the stated size, but it fits great, and is swimming with extra room in the larger PCA-100 case. I also use the PCA-50 for my 35mm and 50mm primes, and Nikon 85mm Micro. The PCA-100 is probably the ticket for fatter lenses such as the 18-200mm VR and 105mm VR Micro.

I came across it when looking for a bag that would give good protection to a camera during hiking with some strenuous scrambling, yet still offer good access to the camera. It has worked well in that regard, and also for cycling, where I have used it by itself. Also it is not too large to fit into my 35L Vaude cycling pack, a bag within a bag. This has become my preferred way for carrying the camera with me, which I do most of the time, wearing the bag over the chest as needed. Of course just pulling out the camera by itself is really is not too cumbersome either, even with this nesting.
Things like the quality of the zippers and the fabric are pleasing, and I really do feel secure riding a bike or scrambling over rocks. I have not used other M-Rock camera bags, but when needing a different bag will look there. Two acquaintances have asked about the bag, as they liked the design; with multiple D-rings and two staps for the flexibility and stability of the fit, as well as the bag itself.

The strap that comes with the case fits around your chest/back for a good secure feel. The only thing on this case is that any larger SLR bodies have a hard time fitting. My Pentax K10D barely fits, where as the Pentax *istD fits ok. Also, be aware any telephoto lenses on the body my impeed the fit as well.

(More customer reviews)If you're looking for a case that provides maximum protection for your pocket camera, or has room for accessories, this isn't the case for you. If you're looking for a case that fits the camera like a glove, and is easy to carry around, than the Lowepro Varia fits the bill. Made of neoprene fabric, the Varia is thin and lightweight. It is also smaller than expected, and my Panasonic TZ series camera barely squeezes into it. But the Varia stretches, and I can get the camera into it. Protection is minimal. It will protect from scratches and minor bumps only, but that is exactly what I bought it for. I can still put the camera in my pocket with it in the case. If your camera is small enough, you can probably squeeze an extra memory card or battery in the case too, but don't expect it to fit much at all. For around $10, I'm happy with the Lowepro Varia. It makes carrying my camera around easy, without a bulky case, and provides a little bit of protection.
