(More customer reviews)I really like the molded piece that cradles the camera body and tube which can support a zoom lens (mine is the 18-105mm VR). Also good that you can unzip the left and right sides all the way down to open wide. On the not so good side, the zipper is very stiff. Lots of jerking motions to get it to unzip. Maybe a little WD-40 would help if I was keeping the case.
From video on the Caselogic website and one of the pics on Amazon I hoped my Nikon SB-26 external flash would fit in the front or back pocket, if not under the molded piece for the camera body. The flash won't fit under that molded piece. Also will not fit in the pocket that has the overhanging flap. Fits SNUGGLY in the other pocket but no way to zip this pocket closed. I need a case to accommodate both my DSLR and SB-26. Unfortunately this case doesn't fit my needs so I am returning it.
One other note, Amazon's description "Laptop Backpack" really is inaccurate. This is a holster-type camera bag/case.

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag for my Canon 20d and I can't stress enough how pleased I am with my purchase. I looked at almost 25 different carrying cases at BestBuy and Circuit City for my nice camera and even did not find the leather Canon case to my liking.
The very best feature of this case is that it has a great base, specially if you decide to do some traveling and say there is some water or moisture where you have placed your camera, you won't have to worry of water soaking the base of the case as it is made of some sort of 100% water proof material. Not only will it prevent water from entering case if it is sitting in a pool of 2 or 3 inches water but it is hard enough that if you accidentally drop the case on its base, it will protect your valuable camera and lens.
The other super nice feature I like about this case is that the camera is never pressed against the base of the case. It is actually 'suspended' inside the case and when I mean suspended I mean exactly that. You will have to buy it to see what I am talking about but all I can say is that no other case I looked at has a feature like this for the price of this case.
Other minor awesome features are the two compartments on the side to safely store 2 additional decent sized lenses along with pockets that you can use to carry the battery charger than comes with your Canon 20D, the user manual and space to store lens caps or the caps that cover the part where the lens attaches to the camera body. There is also enough space for your 3rd party camera strap along with cleaning cloths for your lenses.
Overall I would highly recommend this case to anyone who has purchased a Canon 20D and I think it might also adequately hold a Canon 30D.

It is well worth looking at the M-Rock Website www.m-rock.com to review their range of items before purchasing through Amazon (where your product search may not have shown you how all the cases can be configured). M-Rock is a modular system and can be customised for your collection of camera kit by selecting the right series of cases; all of which can be rapidy joined together as a single carry case, attached to a belt for hands-free carriage, or separated for agility when not all your equipment, and less bulk is important. The modularity is an excellent feature and the products are inexpensive for their quality.
The design of each case is comprehensive and the equipment is robust. It is perfectly suited for amateur photographers, however it is really a great product where your photography takes you into more extreme outdoor, or touring environments.
I had a minor after-market issue and contacted M-Rock through their webpage. I received first hand assistance from Mr Michael Rockwell via email and the matter was addressed immediately and in a very business like and caring manner.
I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Yellowstone, Ozark, Niagra and Modular Belt, and strongly recommend the M-Rock product.

(More customer reviews)I'll start off with my immediate impression - This bag is NOT brown - more a dark green color with dark brown front pocket. The picture makes it look like the front pocket is tan and the bag is a chocolate brown. However - I love this bag! it's big enough for my Pentax K-x 2 lenses and some filters, lens hood, flash and mini tripod with room to spare. All this space and it still is not bulky or purse-ish. I would recommend this for any photographer with a few accessories to pack around. As always Tamrac has excellent quality bags - and this is no exception. The strap is wide and padded has a faux leather pad for the shoulder side - and there are little pockets everywhere for storage. Also, all the inside compartments are move able - you can configure it to fit your specefic gear. Although my pentax is a small body DSLR - there is plenty of room for larger body cameras like Nikon or Canon.

The zippers are covered with a cloth to minimize water entering inside.
The bag is compact and just right for carrying related camera gear
I thought that the bag is big enough to hold a pair of cloths in the upper compartment.
But I realized that it is not meant for it. It can hold additional camera accessories.
The back side is nicely padded to give cushion while carrying.
However, as this is a sling type of bag, you should be carrying the bag on a single shoulder.
Having two shoulders would be better as it will distribute the weight.
Overall I think it is a bang for the buck.
The additional accessories that come with this are not great but just OK.
lenspen is good
precision cleaning kit is ok
screen protectors are not good. they are not very transparent. I should buy another set.

(More customer reviews)I bought this little bag for my $2500 Nikon D700. With so many bag options out there, one often gravitates toward the expensive bags when the camera is so expensive. But trust me, you don't have to. This bag has a clever design to top load the camera-you'll have to pull the straps through the compartment seam to create enough room for a large body like the D700. It will not have enough room left for the detachable battery pack if you prefer to carry it. Simply detach and store in main compartment when traveling.
The main compartment is big enough for my extra 18-50mm wide angle lens with its own zipped sub-compartment. In addition, I routinely carry my charger, extra battery, cleaner, and other gadgets which photographry enthusiasts accumulate over time. I have yet to run out of room. The bag is big enough to carry everything and grow.
I picked this bag for 2 reasons: it was the cheapest for its size, and the unrecognizable name brand and design makes it look like a schoolbag to the casual observer. Therefore, it's a small deterrent to avoid attention from thefts. You can spend more but I wouldn't recommend it. Would easily choose this cheap alternative again for my expensive equipment.

This bag is still doing wonderful, but I thought I should update you guys on the gear it is holding. Currently, it is holding my Canon Rebel XTi (w/ battery grip), Canon EF 70-300mm USM, Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8, Canon EF 28-80mm, and Canon EF-S 18-55mm. As well, it is holding my Canon ZR930 MiniDV camcorder, Canon Rebel 2000 film SLR, filters, pouch of accesories such as chargers, memory card reader, etc, and a few little items. This bag seems to hold whatever you throw at it! Still a 5 star bag!

I have been looking to purchase a camera backpack for my SLRs, lenses, and other accessories, and I had narrowed it down to the Canon 200EG backpack. I loved the compact size to the bag, but the large area inside for about two bodies (a must) as well as excess room for lenses. I tried the bag out at Best Buy, and I was about ready to purchase it on Amazon, until this bag came up as a recommended choice. It looks identical to the Canon, but without the giant 'steal me' Canon logo. Reviews for this bag backed up my choice, so I figured I would try this baby out, and if I din't like it, just return it for the Canon.
Little did I know, this bag exceeded my expectations with features much better than the 200EG. For one, the extra padding on the shoulder straps. You also get a belt strap to support your back with heavy gear. I'm about 5'3" and the bag fits snug and comfortably.
The exterior is made of a durable material, which should hold up against rain. The interior is padded very nicely to secure your gear in the bumpiest of my bike rides, which is nice. The zippers are sturdy, although I wish they were easier to put a lock onto. Lets talk about what this bad boy can hold. I am able to fit my DSLR Canon Rebel XTi (w/ battery grip) in the main slot, my film Rebel 2000 infront of the XTi, my PowerShot P&S, my MiniDV camcorder, 75-300mm telephoto lens, 28-80mm walk-around lens, and 18-55mm kit lens, with room to spare! In the meantime, I keep my chargers, minidv tapes, and remotes in the open spot. That is until I invest in a flash unit. If you pack everything right, you can easily pack three SLR bodies, three lenses, a P&S, and other gear in the bag. The top mounted pockets is home to my filters, memory cards, cables, and cloths. The side of the bag can hold a tripod safe and securely. You can also find spots for a phone, or even fit a small notebook pc (more likely a netbook) in the main pocket. Which is nice considering there is no laptop slot.
All in all, this bag is highly recommended in my opinion. Keep it in mind in your searches, and don't click away because it is Amazon branded. It's higher quality than my old Lowepro!
