I had a screw-thread Leica 50mm f2 Summitar from my dad's old Leica iiic and after reading about others using the same lens on the micro 4/3 cameras with an adapter, I found this one and ordered it. I ordered it on a Monday and it came in on the following Saturday. The finish and quality were much better than I expected for the price. In the online photo, the black finish looks almost like plastic, but actually is very nicely finished metal. I could find no flaws in finish or manufacturing.
The old lens screwed in smoothly. The mount went on my E-PL2 as smoothly as the kit lens, and had no wobble or looseness. Trial photos showed proper focus, et al.
I can't say enough -- why pay more for a name brand when this does the trick? Now that I know I can find an inexpensive, well-made adapter, I'll start keeping my eyes out for other legacy glass, knowing a can get a good adapter.

Olympus 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital Lens with MMF-2 Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter Review

I have the Olympus E-PL1, and didn't want to spend alot on a micro 4/3 lens, so I opted for this 4/3 lens with adapter. I leave the adapter on the lens at all times, so it really is no more hassle to change to this lens than any other.
I own 3 DSLR's (Nikon D40, D5000 and D200), and since I really am obsessed with them, I like the fact that if I decide to get a Olympus 4/3 DSLR to add to my collection, this lens would work on it (when I remove the adapater, of course). I also like the fact that is so afforable, and takes great photos. I have looked at the micro 4/3 lenses and there is very few, and they are quite expensive.
If you have one of the Olympus Pen's (great camera by the way, takes wonderful photos, and very compact compared to my DSLR's that I find I take it with all the time), this lens would be a great investment. It includes the adpater, and if you have done price checking, the adapter (at least when I was looking), is $150+ for just it, no lens. This is only $50 more and you get a lens as well. IMHO, can't beat the price. The lens focuses quicker then the kit lens I got (14-42mm Micro 4/3), and the photos I took with this lens at 150mm and a 55-200 lens set at 150 on my Nikon D40 DSLR where very close (just diffence in colors, and the Olympus had more true colors). I have some photos posted that show it at 150mm focal length to show the detail the lens (and camera) produced. Very Happy.
If you are looking for a lens for one of the Olympus Pen cameras and don't want to break the bank, IMHO, this is a great lens.

The backpack is a LITTLE smaller than I had expected, but fits the Pentax K-x plus two lenses as I required. The tripod is of a higher quality than I had expected at the price. Overall very good value, and suits my needs fine. Swift delivery too.

I've had the camera for a few days now, have been going out each afternoon experimenting with it, and so far I'm very happy with the purchase. But I think there's a lot of personal taste involved in buying any expensive camera, and you should try out several cameras "live" before buying this or any other one. I'm not going to repeat the pros and cons listed in other reviews - by and large I think others have done a good job pointing those out. I'm probably the target market - I was looking seriously at a Canon G11 or a Lumix LX3 before deciding to plonk down a bit more cash for this. I am happy with this camera because my priorities are:
- small size: I hike a lot, and want a light camera that will happily go in my backpack with lunch. DSLR's were just a little too too bulky for my taste. I really like the size of the camera, was willing to pay a bit extra for it. At some point I will probably spring for the 17mm "pancake" lens to trim it down even more. But when I have more cash. :-)
- SLR quality pictures: I was into hobby photography in school and got away from it when work got busy. I want the ability to take some nature and travel pics that can withstand some enlargement. The pictures I'm getting out of the E-PL1 are gorgeous, and I'm really excited about "taking it on the road".
- speed isn't an issue: a major complaint about the camera is that the autofocus isn't as fast as on some other cameras. For sports photography, that's probably an issue. For scenery and portraits, who cares. It's not so bad that I'd have noticed if the reviewers hadn't mentioned it, but then I'm not used to using a DSLR.
- don't care about a viewfinder - I've got astigmatism and with glasses, viewfinders are a pain. I went out shooting at sunset and intentionally shot with the sun on the LCD screen, and while it wasn't ideal,I could still work with it.
Read the reviews at dpreview, steves digicams, photographyblog - lots of good information and analysis. Frankly, I'd ignore most of the message boards and blogs, too many people getting ridiculously passionate about minutia. If you are THAT serious a photographer, this isn't the camera for you. But 95% of us AREN'T so into photography that we will sacrifice our firstborn rather than give up our allegiance to Panasonic/Canon/Nikon/whoever. So be thoughtful about your priorities, and go handle it in a store for a while. For my needs, it just fit.

The materials and manufacturing are very good quality. The dimensions listed in the product details are the external measurements. The inside measures approx. 3 W x 3 D x 5 H. I read other reviews on this product saying it is a perfect fit for Canon S1, and I agree, although it is a snug fit. You wont have room for anything else besides the camera in the large compartment. You will have room for batteries, memory card, usb cable, etc in the front pocket, but you wont have room for any other larger accessories. If you want to fit a battery charger or lens adapters forget it, get the Tamrac Digital 6 instead.
Please note, this camera bag will *NOT* fit the Pro1.
