(More customer reviews)I had a screw-thread Leica 50mm f2 Summitar from my dad's old Leica iiic and after reading about others using the same lens on the micro 4/3 cameras with an adapter, I found this one and ordered it. I ordered it on a Monday and it came in on the following Saturday. The finish and quality were much better than I expected for the price. In the online photo, the black finish looks almost like plastic, but actually is very nicely finished metal. I could find no flaws in finish or manufacturing.
The old lens screwed in smoothly. The mount went on my E-PL2 as smoothly as the kit lens, and had no wobble or looseness. Trial photos showed proper focus, et al.
I can't say enough -- why pay more for a name brand when this does the trick? Now that I know I can find an inexpensive, well-made adapter, I'll start keeping my eyes out for other legacy glass, knowing a can get a good adapter.
