No big deal I took a black marker and colored it in black.. still wish the product photo showed this or that it was in the description somewhere that it has the word "binoculars" stitched into the strap

My first AF SLR was a Nikon!! with this same strap! 14 years later...thousands of pictures, travel across South America, Central America and North America. Nikon camera serviced by Nikon twice, strap replaced ONCE when I gave the camera away! The strap was on its last legs and did not want the new owner to have the strap snap while shooting. All things considered it held up extremely well. I have 7 of these straps and leave the original straps that came with my cameras in the camera boxes. You can not beat the $, durability and acceptable comfort level (not bad for a low cost strap that is also durable).

Nikon D40 Replacement Battery EN-EL9 Review

(More customer reviews)I was somewhat nervous since this battery has higher power (1800 mAh) than the OEM Nikon EN-EL9 (1000mAh). However it works perfectly and will not damage the camera at all (despite what some "Nikonians" would have you believe). The only difference is that this battery lasts even longer than the OEM unit, and is 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. It's a good idea to have a back-up battery for an all-day shoot, and this fits the bill without the cost of the OEM product.
BTW, I found this exact product on Ebay, where Eforcity (dba everydaysource dot com) is selling it for two dollars plus eight dollars shipping. The total cost is an excellent bargain.
** UPDATE 11/14/07-- The battery currently being offered is shown as 1200 mAh, not the 1800 of my original purchase, or the 1000 of the OEM Nikon battery. It is now $12 with shipping, but there may be some quality control issues... Also these sellers keep changing their dba names every few months, so caution is advised. Caveat Emptor

(More customer reviews)With Christmas coming up I wanted to be able to take some family pictures. I have an older Nikon D200, so did a search for a remote for it and found this item. The previous reviews rated it highly, so we decided to go with it. When I got it I was impressed at how easily it was to hook up and get it going. It easily fit into the D200's port, and attaches nicely to the flash shoe. After shooting about 150 pictures with it I was very happy with how it performed. I did notice that every so often it would snap two pictures with one push, but I'm not sure whether it was the fault of the unit or just me pressing the button too much. Overall, very happy with it! And, it ships with a Panasonic battery and not some cheap one that gives out right away.

GGS DSLR LCD Optical Glass Screen Protector for Nikon D60 cameras Review

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these screen protectors and it works great. I had been using the film type protectors for cell phones/PDAs but there were always too many air bubbles under the film. That made it hard to clearly see the photo on the LCD screen.
The GGS optical glass screen protector doesn't have that problem. It attaches with double sided tape that is already installed on the glass. Just remove the backing paper and carefully line up the glass and press in place. Provides a clear look at the LCD screen and no air bubbles. It is cut to exactly match the outline of the D60 LCD screen. It's well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I just put this on my d40 camera and you can't even tell it's on there. It was easy to put on, fit perfectly and doesn't interfere with seeing the LCD in perfect clarity. It also is hard glass, not flimsy like other protectors that start to peel up on the sides, or leave air bubbles underneath, this one won't do that. It is very affordable and WELL worth the money. A great product, that protects your investment, at a small price....I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It works perfectly as advertised, very responsive, ergonomically fits well in the hand and very easy to use. Construction of the item is nice and solid and the cord has a nice thickness to it. It is very easy to connect (if you are familiar with your camera), even in low light conditions and the screw in cap is nice so you do not have to worry about it falling out. I use a D200, lost my MC-30 and thought I would give this a try on a whim...I am so happy I got this over the MC-30. For less than ¼ of the price for the MC-30, this is a steal and I highly recommend it for both novices and professionals (if you're a pro, get 2 in case 1 gets lost or somehow broken in the field).
