(More customer reviews)As a response to "mom2sarah..." who recommends 2 cards of 512 MB rather than this 1 GB, I have some things to point out
1. It is true that write (and read) a large number of small files to (and from) a 1 GB card is a little bit slower than a 512 MB. However, this card is mostly used in digital camera and today moderate cameras have image resolution of at least 4 megapixels which means around 1 MB per file. And 1 MB is big enough to reduce the difference of transfer speed. For those who use relatively new camera, this difference is hardly noticeable.
2. Occasionally you would want to record some video from your digital camera and of course you don't want your movie to be interupted because of memory limited. In my Canon S2 IS, a super fine video of 620x480, 30fps uses the whole 1GB card just for about 8 minutes. So, using 512MB is even worse.
3. Around the internet, this card is said to be pretty durable, there is no major corruption issue with it. Hence, there is no risk to buy.
4. I have used a lot of SD cards before and this is the fastest among those. I was impressed. The first time I bought this card, I took around 300 pictures (around 400 MB), when I transferred them to my computer, I suspected it would take at least 3 minutes like my other SD cards. But no, it took only a minute flat.
5. In my Canon S2 IS, the actually usable memory is 968MB. The fact is ALL memory storage devices always have a little bit less storage space than indicated by the manufacturer.
I tried to find some cons about this card because they will make the review to be fair. But I must say that I can't find anything to complain about this card.

(More customer reviews)When the Arctic Butterfly couldn't get all the particles off my sensor...the Digital Survival Kit finished the job nicely.
I shoot a lot of pictures outdoors and need to change lenses in those conditions. My experience has been no matter how careful I am (ie: walking back to my truck from the beach to change lenses due to high wind and/or heavy fog, using a rain poncho to mask weather conditions, or holding the camera body above when changing lenses) some form of debris has still found it's way onto my sensor.
My Arctic Butterfly 724 has worked great just about every time. It's those situations when pesky leftovers are still showing up in test pictures.
The first time that happened I contemplated my options and proceeded on taking my camera in for professional cleaning. While I do recommend a professional cleaning, that's not always an option if you're already out taking pictures and are far away from a camera repair shop.
This led me to looking for a way to fix the problem when out in the field.
I did some research which led me to trying out the Eclipse cleaning solution on my Canon 5D Mark II. So far I have had no problems. I used the company's website to find the size of swab and version of cleaner I would need for my sensor and it worked great.
I give this product 5 stars because it saved me it a tight spot when getting my camera cleaned professionally was not an option.

The only drawback I find so far is that the instruction sheet that comes with it is only in Japanese. Setup is intuitive, but I would like to know if there are features or capabilities that I might be missing. Requests to Nikon USA were met with the reply that this lens is not sold in the USA, so there is no English language instruction sheet. Excuse me? I just bought one!... and not from some obscure source...from Amazon!
Still, I can set it up and use it. But I would like to know a little bit more about how yo get the most out of it.

(More customer reviews)It's a fine product, and it works just fine in products that support the SDHC format. However, be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your product (be it a digital camera, memory card reader or--in my case--the Palm T|X PDA which for some STRANGE reason doesn't read it) reads it. Just because your device is new doesn't necessarily mean that it will recognize SDHC cards (as opposed to the older SD cards).
If your device recognizes SDHC cards, then by all means go forth and thrash. You won't find a better card for the price.

(More customer reviews)The charger works but the battery fit is clumsy. Battery charging indicator is green when the charger is not connected to the outlet. Turns red while charging and amber when charged. I don't feel there is a cutoff when the battery is charged so I just unplug it. Works fine with the D70 battery. It may or may not overcharge since there is no charging cutoff.
