This compact clamp is made in the USA, VERY well built, small enough to fit in you pocket.

It allows a camera, camcorder, spotting scope or binoculars that has a tripod mount, to be solidly attached to a table, roll cage, car tube bumper, fences, railings, tree branch, shooting bench, so on and so forth (you get the idea), using a standard 1/4"-20 threaded quick connect screw, just like any standard tripod. It attaches to either round or flat objects from 1" to 2.5" thick, with rubber on both sides of the clamp, it will not scratch or slip. The Monopod is quick to set up and move. Only negatives are it would be nice to have a second shoe for the cameras. (I suspect they are available) and the release clips are a little tight - my 9 yr old has trouble with them.

Lowepro Sausalito 20 Camera Pouch (Bordeaux Red) Review

(More customer reviews)While really sturdy and well constructed, the bag is very small and other than iPod Touch and Flip MinoHD, I really could not fit any other mobile device inside this bag. It did not fit my compact camera Canon S90, disaffirming the description on the card accompanying the camera that it is designed for compact cameras. Even my subcompact camera, Kodak V570 did not fit inside this bag. If you try hard, you can probably squeeze iPhone inside this. But Motorola Droid and Palm Centro cell phones could not be squeezed inside this bag.
Microfiber cloth to clean the screen is useful. My guess is that Canon ELPH series subcompact cameras might fit inside this bag. Even if the bag accommodates some subcompact cameras, there is no other pocket to store SD card or battery etc.
Hence, the utility of this bag is very limited and the description that it is for compact cameras is inaccurate. But it is very well made, looks beautiful, and will protect the device well, so I will give it three stars for that. If there was a pocket to store SD card, I would have given it 4 stars and if it really accommodated the compact cameras like Canon S90 - 5 stars.

Tamrac TR406 ZipShot Compact Ultra-Light Instant Tripod Review

(More customer reviews)I own one of these tripods. It's quite hard to resist buying it, once you've seen it unfold. All you do is undo a few bungee cords, hold the thing by the ballhead, and watch it assemble itself! You then have to screw your camera onto the tripod, and you're ready to go. 5 seconds to deploy the tripod, and 10-15 seconds to mount your camera. Pretty great!
Why not five stars? You really have to use a self-timer or a remote trigger to use the tripod. Although the tripod is sturdy enough to hold a decent weight (unlike one of the reviewers, I don't have any qualms that the thing is going to fall apart), there's a slight wobble when you touch the camera once it's mounted. Mind you, my other tripods are Gitzos (only 11 times more expensive, and heavier), but you do need to take this into account when using the zipshot. Why does it wobble? Because the leg elements attach to the ballhead with a bungee cord; the platform is only as stable as the cord.
This tripod makes a great light stand (presuming your strobes are slaved or remoted, and you have "strobe feet" that can mount to a 1/4" tripod screw). It's also great for taking small-to-medium sized cameras (point-and-shoots through Olympus E-P1 or Lumix GF1, and maybe Canon Rebels -- NOT Canon 7Ds, Nikon 700s, or heaven forbid, D3s or 1Ds!) into places where weight and size are at a premium. Put it in your bag with your Gorillapods, etc.
Pros: extreme light weight, amazingly cool self-assembly, cheap, seems to be safe
Con: Wobbles. You need to use a remote trigger or a cable release.
Bottom line: Go ahead and get it if you're willing to live with the limitations, and want a very lightweight easy to carry tripod. It's better than not having a tripod, and is much, much more likely to be with you on a long trek.

Within 2 weeks, one of the buckles for the shoulder strap split; they are much smaller and of weaker quality than those of other backpacks I have at home. I emailed the company to try and get repair completed and was told I would need to pay for the freight to and back....that's $20 in freight for a $40 backpack that worked for all of 2 weeks...that is not the quality or customer service I was hoping for and thought others should be aware if they choose to purchase.

Sima SMP-1C Monopod Review

Most of the time that cliche is true, but there are products out there that break this rule. The Philips DVP642 is one of them, a great quality, versatile product selling at a bargain price. This is not.
I was hoping the same of this product from all the "glowing" reviews on here. However, this quality of this monopod is very disappointing. First of all, you have to ask yourself, why do you need a monopod over a tripod? For myself and most, it's because we need some stability and portability for our telephoto zoom lenses.However, telephoto zooms are long and heavy so the monopod should be designed strong and solid to live up to the task. This monopod doesn't even come close.
Here are it's bad points:
-The aluminum construction is very cheap quality. The leg segments wobble laterally when you extend and close them. It feels like thin, cheap aluminum and the monopod feels it could break in half like a toothpick at any time.
-The head is very cheap and not solid. No matter how tight I tightened the head, my camera would slope down. The workmanship of the head is so cheap that at any point, you think that you're going to break the PLASTIC tightening screw if you tighten it too much. I think we've all experienced that in the past.
-The leg locks are not tight. When you push down on the monopod, the leg segments slide back into themselves.
In the end, it was a risk I took hoping that I could get a high-quality product for a cheap price. Sometimes, you can get away with that. Walmart sells a very decent functioning tripod for only $30. In this case, I should've bought a REAL monopod. Oh well, I wasted $16 that I could've used to help pay for a higher quality monopod.

Pedco UltraClamp Assembly Review

(More customer reviews)I used this clamp to suspend a microphone from the crossbars of a jeep. Its unique joints allow you to swivel 360 degrees in all three dimensions! What's more, the head of the screw is flat ended, intended for tables, but the curve on the top edge works really nicely for my purposes.
Because the mic stays mounted on a moving (bouncing) vehicle, one of the joints tended to keep getting loose. Not a problem if you're stationary. My previous one mysteriously locked up though - maybe the threads of the screw oxidized. After much searching (I couldn't remember the make or model) I'm thrilled I finally found it again - there's nothing else configured like it. Just remember to clean it once in a while!
