(More customer reviews)I really like this lens hood, it collapses down and fits easily in my backpacks. I dont even carry most of my large & rigid lens hoods anymore as this works on most of my lenses. I bought this primarily for shooting in aquariums and through glass to keep reflections down to a minimum which this hood is perfect for. I also like that it screws in like a filter so it works on all my 77mm lenses. I have 5 Canon lenses that all have different lens hoods and they dont fit on the other 77mm lenses (like my 70-200mm lens hood will not fit on my 100-400 or my 24-70, etc..) I did notice that I could see the hood when I was shooting at 24mm on my full frame 5D Mk II but once I zoomed out to 30mm, it was out of the frame. I just folded the rubber back when shooting at 24mm and that alleviated this problem.
This lens hood is simple, practical and works great.

Opteka rubber lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.

(More customer reviews)I got these filters for $4.95/per and I couldn't be happier. I have used B&W filters in the past, and while these are not quite in the same league, they are awfully close. Well-built, good multicoating, what more can you ask? If my Sigma 50mm macro is any indication, Sigma knows a thing or two about making glass. If you need something affordable and high quality, look no further. I see absolutely no difference between these and the more common Hoya S-HMC filters (which I also own).

GGS Optical Glass LCD Screen Protector 3" for Digital Cameras Review

(More customer reviews)I spent a good few hours trying to find a glass style screen protector that would work for my Canon S95. I used to own this type of screen protector for my Panasonic LX3, and wanted it for my S95. Given the options out there (which I found this was the only one) I am overall satisfied with it. My only issue is with how it fits over the screen, which I will get into later in this review.
Why choose this over the cheaper plastic screen protectors? Those screen protectors tend to get dust much more easily along the edges. It also tends to peel back over time. Even if they say you can wash it and reapply, I really wanted to set it and forget it. It is really not noticeable in terms of added thickness to the camera, so I am very pleased with that and with the protection quality.
My only complaint is how well it fits over my camera screen. Around the edges of canon S95 screen is a few millimeters of blacked out glass, which the screen protector did no fully cover, so it's not completely flush. I am sure this was built to be a universal type screen protector, so I somewhat understand.
I would highly suggest this for any 3" screen that you are looking to protect that has a ratio of 4:3, but my application was specifically for the Canon S90/S95.

(More customer reviews)I wasn't about to use one of those clear stickers to protect the screen. Those definitely protect against scratches. This one however, protects against impact. You can't even tell it's there once you put it on, it's thin strong and fits perfectly on the back of my D3000. I considered getting the other protector but I don't like the idea of it connecting to my viewfinder and using a plastic eye-cup. Besides, those scratch easily and allow particles to work their way between the plastic and the screen, creating deep gouges and scratches.
This screen protector is basically invisible while offering complete protection for your LCD screen. It doesn't scratch and it wipes off clean, easily.
Overall, I'm very happy with it and I bought an extra one, just in case something happens to this one, I'll have a ready replacement.
Before you attach it to your screen, make sure your screen is PERFECTLY clean and completely dust free. Removing this screen protector isn't easy and once you disturb the glue, I doubt it'll stick as flush as it does. That's the other thing, while it's as close to perfect a fit as you can get, you'll want to line this is up very, very, carefully because of the 0.5mm thickness you don't want that edge to be hanging over at all. Like the packaging says, it's recommended to turn the screen on before applying. I'd also recommend you apply this screen protector in a very well lit area.
