- Canon 10D body with 17-40mm f/4 L lens attached
- Canon 420EX Flash
- Canon 55-200mm USM lens
- Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens
- Some more small stuffs like Omini bounce , charger
Apart from this you could keep all you flash cards , wires in the front zip.
Sorry but you can't accomodate any more stuffs in the bag. If you have more lenses or body then you should go for Lowepro 200. But I belive most of the ametures use to have a body + 2lenses+ Flash. This bag should be perfect for that.
High quality materials.

(More customer reviews)The manufacturers description of this bag is pretty accurate EXCEPT for the comment about being suitable for a 17" laptop. Maybe their LARGE version of this bag would be, but this MEDIUM version is only suitable for 12-13" laptops.
For those curious about dimensions:
- The exterior dimensions of the bag are about 19"h x 14"w x 8"d. This is a soft bag so depending on how full you pack it, it can be a bit (several inches) smaller or bigger in all dimensions. The dimensions I gave are with the bag packed reasonably full but not stuffed. So for you frequent fliers, this can usually fit under the seat in front of you if packed correctly and will fit in the overheads of even small aircraft.
- The laptop compartment is accessed through a 13" zipper opening so if your laptop is very thick or over 13"w, beware. My 13" MacBook barely fits through the opening. Inside the compartment itself is about 15"h x 10"w x 1.5"d and it seems reasonably padded.
- The camera compartment is about 8"h x 11"w x 3.5"d and has enough room for a small DSLR with lens, a couple extra lenses, a flash, and a few small accessories. Again this is a soft bag so depending on how you pack this section and other sections this section can be a bit bigger or smaller. It is well padded and reasonably versatile with velcro on padded strips that can form up to 6 compartments of various shapes and sizes. I have a large section for Oly D-510 w 18-180, two med compartments for 14-42 and 45-150 lenses, one long compartment for FL36 flash and all cables and stuff, and one small compartment for charger and batteries and memory cards.
- The Main compartment is about 9"h x 12"w x 5"d with a drawstring and flap closure that allows it to be considerably shorter or taller.
- There are also seven external pockets. Two are hidden pouches on the sides that when folded out serve as bottle or tripod holders then there are five others in various sizes that hold a lot of little odds and ends. The bag also feature various tie down points and a pretty good harness system. It even includes a couple straps for the under-bag tie-downs that could be used for a larger tripod, small sleeping bag etc.
All in all I am very happy with this bag. Seems compact, good quality, fits all my stuff, and looks good.

Tamrac 5788 Evolution 8 Photo/Laptop Sling Backpack Bag (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I already own a Tamrac Expedition and a Lowepro sling bag. The sling is good for short trips when I want to go light but the single strap can get uncomfortable after awhile. The Expedition holds a lot but access is not as easy- you have to take the bag off. What I like best about the Evolution is the triple access- front and both sides. You can set it up so the camera is accessed on one side and the lenses on the other. And you can use the bag like a backpack for long term comfort or a sling for shorter outings. Even with the Lowe sling getting my camera (Nikon 300D with zoom) out requires a little contortion, but the SLR is right there with the Evolution. It really combines the best features of both bags and has plenty of storage. I will probably get rid of the Expedition and continue to use the sling for quick outings and the Evolution for day trips and my major trip/shooting bag, especially because it has the tripod pocket and the extra storage. Build quality is good and the extra pockets all over the bag are well thought out and enable rational storage of needed items. This bag is really the most versatile I have seen as an all around bag for short hikes and long trips.

Kata DR-467i Digital Rucksack (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)First, be sure that you purchase the 467i and not the plain Kata 467. The "i" is for "improved" and Kata has added some useful features to the 467 which I believe makes this backpack the best one of this size. I don't believe another brand backpack with these same features exist...at least not for this price. I've never owned a Kata bag before, but I was familiar with their build quality and knew that they offer features that are well thought out. Currently, I have been through a total of four previous DSLR camera bags and I've finally found a keeper!
Features that sold me on the Kata 467i:
1. The Kata "Insert Trolley" slot for securing (sliding over) your carry-on luggage handle through while traveling.
2. Tripod/monopod/umbrella/water bottle lower mesh holder and upper securing strap
3. Lightweight (3.7 lbs) and high quality materials used throughout.
4. Bright yellow interior (every compartment, even the laptop area) for easily locating bag contents.
5. Top accessible laptop storage is much better than side accessible lap top storage (Lowepro FP 250). I no longer need to lay my bag on its side to get to my lap top. This Kata easily fits my HP DV6 16.5" laptop.
6. Center chest strap to relieve some of the weight from your shoulders
7. The padded floor of the top compartment unzips and folds up, allowing access to the lower camera compartment. This is great for accessing your camera when space is a concern. (coach airline seating)
8. Does not have the typical huge hip/waist belt to get in the way and dig into your back when its not being used (99% of the time), just a simple nylon strap and clips instead.
9. Rain cover is included.
10. The top handle is awesome and very comfortable carry when not having this strapped to your back.
Update:
It has been a couple weeks after purchasing this bag and I am still extremely happy with it. Now I should probably list what camera gear I normally fit into this. Nikon D90 with MB-D80 grip mounted to a Nikon 50mm 1.4 prime. Alongside that I have a Tokina 11-16 2.8 and Nikon 35mm 1.8 prime. This all fits in the lower camera compartment. A Nikon 70-200 2.8 (inside the Nikon zipper case) fits snugly in the top compartment parallel to the ground. There is a little room to spare on the top of this compartment too. After all that, there is still room for miscellaneous things like a small rocket blaster, small table top tripod, SD cards etc. in the front zipper pockets. I hope this helps!
Update 9 months later:
Still going strong. Since my last review I have sold the D90, MB-D80 grip, and 11-16 Tokina. Now using a D700 (no accessory grip) and 16-35 f/4. The 16-35 fits perfectly in the bottom side partition, and the D700 attached to 50mm f/1.4 fits with room to spare in bottom main compartment. Still an excellent backpack and highly recommended.

Lowepro 35092 Primus AW Premium Backpack (Arctic Blue) Review

(More customer reviews)The Primus AW is a nearly perfect multi-purpose camera backpack. I've been looking for a backpack that could hold a reasonable amount of photography and non-photography gear for several years, and this is the first I've found that manages get the balance just right. It has many things to like about it and only a few minor flaws.
The photography gear section is at the bottom of the bag. It is able to hold a professional body with a 70-200mm lens attached (but without the hood), along with a couple of other lenses and a flash. For most of my day trips, this is plenty of gear. The padding in this area is quite sufficient and there are dividers that can be arranged to partition the gear however you like. Access to the camera gear is through the back of the backpack, which helps prevent theft and allows you to get the gear out without getting the part of the bag that touches your back dirty. The photography section can also be accessed by a side panel that allows easy removal of the camera. While this works great for a regular-sized camera, my Rebel XTi with the battery grip on doesn't fit through the opening easily. I wish they would have made this access panel a bit bigger to accommodate the bodies with grips.
The upper compartment is a slightly padded area that can hold a lot of non-photography gear. I packed a first aid kit, food, maps, and a GorillaPod table-tripod in it and still had room to spare. On the front of the bag is a sort of half-open expandable area that is perfect for holding a jacket, books, or other items. It can even hold a small notebook computer. The outermost part of the bag has a tripod attachment that also worked great for trekking poles. Underneath the bag is the storage for the attached all-weather cover, should it begin to rain. Finally, on the side of the bag is an expandable pocket for a water bottle.
There are very few downsides to the bag. The first is the already-mentioned size of the side-access panel. This won't be a problem for most people that don't own cameras with grips. The second downside to the bag is that it only comes in one size. The bag is slightly short for my torso. It would have been great if they offered these in different sizes like camping backpack makers do. For me, an extra inch would have been great, allowing me to put more of the load onto my hips. The final negative that I have encountered is that there are no SlipLock attachments on the bag. I have a few accessory attachments that I use with my other Lowepro bags and they won't work with this bag.
Overall, if you're an average sized person who wants a bag to carry around for a day hike through the park or while touring a city, this bag is a wonderful choice. I have other bags for other purposes, but I can see this being my go-to bag for most occasions.

Kata KT D-3N1-20 Sling/Backpack (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I am only reviewing cause there aren't very many reviews of this bag for some reason anywhere. I have had it for about two weeks now. There is some video out there from [...] or something. You can find it on the kata website and it does a decent job of showing you the features.
Pros:
1. Many ways to wear it. Sling, backpack, x - straps across your chest like an x. I primarily wear as backpack and sling.
2. Looks pretty cool.
3. Lots of buckles so you don't have to zip it up if you know you are going to take another pic soon.
4. I really like the top handle for some reason. Cushioned and easy to grab.
5. Inside dividers are changeable and good.
6. Yellow insides makes easy to see stuff.
Cons
1. Wish it had a water pocket, but that is really just my preference.
2. Wish it had a pocket or something on the outside you didn't have to zip to get to.
3. This is what I took one star off for which is my only real complaint since the other two are just wishes - the material doesn't breathe very well so it gets hot on my back which isn't a huge complaint, but it is a complaint none the less. I wish it was more breathable or like Osprey backpacks, had mesh to let air in. Kata, if you are listening, go look at those Osprey backpacks which I use for hiking/overnighters cause they are awesome.
I got this one after thinking of getting a Lowe Slingshot 200 for a while. Friend of mine has that one and he likes it but I thought it wouldn't be comfortable to have on all day. He uses it for travel and thinks the sling aspect is great. I agreed with him about the sling, but didn't want to have to have it on one strap all day long. So when I saw this one, I got excited. It does what it is designed to do pretty well. Sling aspect works. There are multiple cushions on each of the two straps which are changeable with buckles on the bottom of the bag. So you can have one strap and act as a sling, two straps in either x-across the chest format or as a backpack. I think I made a good choice. Might get the bigger one just cause as a pretty big guy, this looks a little ridiculous on me cause of its size.
As for what I carry, I don't carry much. Just got into photography. Canon 40D, one zoom lens but small one, one other lens sometimes. Still plenty of room to stick a flash, another lens, maybe another camera body but it would have to be without the lens attached. There is space for other stuff in the top pocket like a notebook, some other accessories. Two side pockets too.
Overall, a good bag which is saying a lot cause I have a thing for bags.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Lowepro kit because I had checked out this backpack at a camera shop and it was definately one that fit my needs. I had tried others and returned them because they were either to big or did not have the storage areas I wanted for my camera equipment. The Lowepro is just right for us when we go on trips or for everyday. It will hold 3 lenses for my Nikon D3000. I can easily change the compartment sizes to fit whichever lens I have on. When we are on trips we can also carry 2 other cameras. Even with all of this the shoulder straps are comfortable. I certainly recommend purchasing this backpack to anyone looking to purchase a mid priced bag for their photo equipment.

Lowepro Vertex 300 AW Backpack Review

(More customer reviews)I just returned form two weeks in Alaska and found the Lowepro Vertex 300 was what I expected from Lowepro. I found that it easily stored in the overhead bin and was easy to carry in the field. I carried a Nikon D100 and F100 both with the extended battery packs, a 170-500mm Sigma Telephoto, two additional lenses, an Epson P-3000, DX-80 Flash, various Cokin filters, extra batteries, chargers, flashlight, 20 rolls of film, manuals, tools, canned air and a Gitzo 2530 with no problem. So, as you can see I had just about everything but the kitchen sink! The ability to carry this by it's top strap made it easy to get around. The build quality is very good also. I will purchase Lowepro again!

(More customer reviews)Wow i was really impressed by the many things the tripod can do the built in handle, leveler and lightweight, the bag with many storage pockets and compartments works just as well, i take my camera with me even if it's just a trip into town, place the pack on my front seat and everything is accessable. the cleaning kit it great as well, although i havn't used it, i know those work, but again the tripod alone is worth the purchase.

(More customer reviews)I was finding that many of my activities were going unphotographed because I didn't have a way to safely carry my equipment. Activities such as bike riding, cross country skiing or canoeing have not been a part of my photohistory--until I got the Tamrac Expedition 3 backpack.
The "Expedition" holds my SLR with a 300mm lens, my standard lens, my off camera flash, extra film, standard filters and cleaning supplies, with room left over for my keys and money. Everything is well padded and secure, and the pack is quite small and sits squarely on my back. A sturdy top handle allows it to be carried in hand, and its small size makes this possible without dragging it along the ground as I do so. The materials used are very sturdy; the pack can stand on its own and does not "collapse."
The only down side, and this is true of any camera backpack, is the need to take it off and zip it open to get at your gear. If this would be a concern, you may want to check out the top-loading hip packs, which I passed on since they always feel awkward to me. Years of hauling backpacks make the "Expedition" seem like second nature to me. No longer will my photohistory suggest couch potato-dom; now I can shoot my exploits on trail or river, thanks to the "Expedition!"

Kata KT D-3N1-10 Sling/Backpack (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)The Kata 3-in-1 model 10 replaces the Lowepro Slingshot 100 that that got handed off to my daughter. (OK, I admit to being a camera backpack junkie.) Kata's configuration assumes you'll insert the camera & lens ito the bottom section, through one of the handy side flaps. A spare lens or two would fit into the spaces left in the middle section and you could put other stuff (or your lunch) in the top section. That would be OK for Canon Rebels, Nikon D40/D60 etc. But I have a Canon 5D - a mid-sized SLR. With a wide-angle lens and a moderate telephoto the interior configuration as shipped is a bit of a squeeze. The Kata comes in three versions. The Model 10 is about one inch smaller all around that the model 20, and I probably should have purchased the Model 20.
It's possible to reconfigure the interior, use the top section for a mid-sized SLR and put lenses and other accessories in the middle section. That makes it a bit harder to access the camera when you use it as a slingpack, but a whole lot easier to get at the lenses. And you just have to carry your lunch someplace else ;-)
Reconfiguring the interior is easy enough, but it's not quite as flexible as the interior of some larger Kata models, or as flexible as the Lowepro "Slingshot" models. So consider the Kata 3-in-1 Model 20 if you have a medium-sized SLR.
The construction quality and comfort are strong suits. I used the Kata for long hikes on two successive days and it was very comfortable -- more so than the Lowepro Slingshot. It's built very well, with heavy duty zippers and snap closures and excellent padded straps. The interior padding is excellent and there are some small zippered pockets for small items. It comes with a nylon rain cover that fits into its own bag and that worked well one day when the snow turned to rain in Boston.
The design allows you to use it as a backpack or sling pack and switch modes easily. It was easy enough to get access to the gear by setting it up as a regular backpack and them releasing one of ths backpack straps and pulling it around my side to get into it, and it's designed specifically to be used that way if you prefer.
So: Excellent build quality; very comfortable on a hike or just around town; good design for a small SLR & accessories; not quite so good for a Nikin D80/90/300/ or Canon 20/30/40/50/5D. But look at the Kata 3-in-1 Model 20 for those cameras.
