(More customer reviews)I bought two Canon camera`s last Christmas, one for my daughter and the other for my Grandaughter, I purchased Square Trade Warranty on both of them, I really was not sure if I would have a hastle or not, if the camera broke, but the price was right, so I bought it. My Grandaughter`s camera broke, it wouldn`t turn on, so I called Square Trade, in less than eight minutes, I was told that they would fix the camera, I wouldn`t have to pay a penny, not even for postage, that they would mail me a mailing box for the camera in about three days, then I should package the camera and sent it by UPS, and within five working days it would be returned. To top it off they would send me info by Email. I was amazed to say the least, I even told the man on the phone that, what more could I ask, it was all taken care of, and so very easy for me!!!! It WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, BUT IT WAS TRUE!!!!!!!! I sent the camera off in the prepaid mailing box that had bubble wrap inclosed and peanuts, tape, etc., and within 3 days my camera was returned in perfect working order, with a new part on it. I must say, I couldn`t be happier, I highly recommend Square Trade and have told many people to use their services. I am sure glad I put the kids Ipods with Square Trade too. Thank you Square, you are the BEST!!!

I did have a product that was not working properly. I mailed it in and they were not able to repair the item and did not have a replacement. I was refunded my full price that I originally paid for the item. I believe they do have an excellent warranty program. I would recommend this to those who wish to purchase an extended warranty.

(More customer reviews)I purchased a digital camerea on ebay and decided to by this warranty on a whim. I am so glad I did. My camerea broke several months later leaving me pretty upset. I started my online claim the same day, which was so easy. They followed up with ideas on how to fix my camerea and a phone number to call if those ideas did not work. Of course my camerea was unrepairable. I sent it in and received a full refund within days. I could not be happier with my warranty. I will definetly buy this warranty to cover my new digital camerea.

(More customer reviews)I bought a Kodak M1033 digital camera on eBay and decided it would be a good idea to take a warranty on it thru Square Trade as I use the camera for my eBay auctions to attach pictures. I bought this camera about 8 months ago. I have another couple of warranties with Square Trade and haven't had to use any of them until now. As with most electronics, they sometimes break or start going bad after a short while so a warranty is a good idea, especially when you buy an item on eBay that doesn't have a warranty. I contacted Square Trade about my dead camera and they recommended I send it back to them so their Product Specialists could confirm what I told them what was wrong with my camera. After receiving my camera they assessed it and confirmed the camera had a faulty internal problem. An email was sent to me from Square Trade stating they had finished assessing my claim and that I was eligible for a full payout. They sent 100% of my money to my PayPal account (within 24 hours) that I paid for my camera. After receiving my money I went back to eBay and bought another brand new Kodak M1033 camera. It hasn't arrived yet but when it does I will surely take another warranty thru Square Trade. The warranties from Square Trade are very reasonable and are better and cheaper than you can get at a retail outlet. I highly recommend Square Trade for all your warranty needs. They are a top shelve company with a no hassle commitment to their customers. I have nothing but praise for the Square Trade team.

The camera stopped working and after emailing with Square Trade, they sent me a prepaid box to mail the camera to them. Within 3 days they determined that the camera couldn't be repaired and they refunded the entire purchase price to Paypal. So now we bought a new camera and intend to purchase another warranty from Square Trade.

When I read about the warranty in detail, I found that I would neeed to pay the first $50 worth for repair/ replace when using the accident coverage. Since I paid less than $50 for the camera, I returned the warranty, which was very easy to do.

(More customer reviews)I purchased a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 camera in December '09. I purchased the SquareTrade warranty with accident prevention in March '10. In June '10, I dropped my camera on a concrete sidewalk with the lens extended and it only left a small mark on the edge of the lens ring, but the lens would no longer extend when the camera was turned on and the camera would no longer take photos. Panasonic warranty would not cover accidental damage. I sent the camera into Squaretrade with a prepaid UPS shipping label, they verified the damage and claim and sent the reimbursement via Paypal. The whole process from the time I shipped the camera was about a week. Excellent service and coverage. I have already purchased another camera (Panasonic DMC-ZS7) and will definitely be acquiring another Squaretrade warranty.

They kept sending the item in for repairs that never fixed the problem. SquareTrade, in contrast, was all about making me whole and made good on their warranty for a cell phone in short order. Squaretrade is all I use these days, and with their accidental damage coverage option, I am set for all situations. Now I can enjoy all my tech toys without worry.A major value added, for a very small price.

(More customer reviews)You can buy a warranty from Square Trade for for what ever electronics you have, even for a used item on Ebay ! They have drop and spill warranty too that you can add. It is very easy, they keep everything online for you. If you subscribe to their newsletter they often have discounts. I just had a camera failing, they replied to my email the next day, offered me a shipping label to print to send my camera, and 2 or 3 days after, sent me an email saying they were going to reimburse me the price of my camera on my Paypal account. A few more days after, it's done and I can buy another, newer camera. Thanks Square Trade.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this warranty with my purchase of a new digital camera from Sony. I recently purchased a Nikon camera but dropped the camera thus cracking the screen. After researching Nikon's warranty and other camera manufacturers' warranties online, I realized that Sony was the manufacturer to offer an additional service plan that covered accidental damage such as drops and spills. However, when searching for cameras on Amazon, I saw this warranty offer from SquareTrade. After reading the terms and conditions of the SquareTrade warranty, I realized that I could purchase a camera from any manufacturer and still purchase an additional warranty plan that covers accidental damage. Sony offers an accidental damage service plan for a little less than SquareTrade. However, SquareTrade provides everything online - you can save your receipt online so you don't have to look for it when you want to place a claim, you can complete the entire claim process online, and you ship your damaged item free. I felt that these added conveniences more than made up the few dollars difference between the Sony offer and the SquareTrade offer. In the end, I ended up purchasing a Sony camera but with a SquareTrade warranty with accidental damage.
A quick disclaimer - I have not filed any claims with SquareTrade yet but I have went on their website, registered, and sent in my receipt for them to keep on file. The website is easy to use and the entire registration and receipt submission process was quick and easy. I would recommend anyone thinking about an additional warranty to look into SquareTrade.

However, when an issue with a digital camera as well as a computer that I had purchased with the Square Trade warranty I was more than surprised. I email a claim in, on the camera they asked it be sent to them and they paid the postage. Within a couple of days of receipt I had a notification that my PayPal account had been credited. The same happened with a coomputer purchase.
Square Trade will have my my extended warranty business for everything I purchase.

Square Trade covered the full cost of the repair and once I submitted the proper documents to them, I promptly received payment into my Paypal account as I instructed. I now experienced the claim side of Square Trade and would highly recommend based on claim service and the cost of warranty coverage versus the big box guys.

(More customer reviews)Been a customer for years but when their is a claim, they are fair and fast. What more can you ask for? One note, they are not really in the repair business but, rather, replacing your cost. So if you item breaks and you got it on sale, they are reimbursing you what you paid for the item and you will have to buy it again (probably at a higher price). But wait for a squaretrade sale to lower your entrance price on the warranty.
