(More customer reviews)Square Trade aftermarket warranties are a good value for the price, which is considerably less than those the electronic stores try to sell you. I purchased a Sony Handycam and tried a Square Trade warranty which was $24.00 for 3 years. Toward the end of the warranty the focus during a zoom did not always work or did not keep up with the zoom. I called Square Trade. They told me to get a price quote locally to have the item fixed. The quote I received was only $40 less than the cost of the camera. When I reported that to Square Trade, they sent me a prepaid UPS mailing label. Three days after they received the malfunctioning camera I had the total warranty value in my PayPal account. I will purchase other Square Trade warranties on small complicated electronics in the future.

When I recommend square trade to my friends I often hear "Square who?" but then I tell them about prices and service and suddenly evrybody is interested.
Great company, by far best deal out there.

(More customer reviews)I bought a Kodak M1033 digital camera on eBay and decided it would be a good idea to take a warranty on it thru Square Trade as I use the camera for my eBay auctions to attach pictures. I bought this camera about 8 months ago. I have another couple of warranties with Square Trade and haven't had to use any of them until now. As with most electronics, they sometimes break or start going bad after a short while so a warranty is a good idea, especially when you buy an item on eBay that doesn't have a warranty. I contacted Square Trade about my dead camera and they recommended I send it back to them so their Product Specialists could confirm what I told them what was wrong with my camera. After receiving my camera they assessed it and confirmed the camera had a faulty internal problem. An email was sent to me from Square Trade stating they had finished assessing my claim and that I was eligible for a full payout. They sent 100% of my money to my PayPal account (within 24 hours) that I paid for my camera. After receiving my money I went back to eBay and bought another brand new Kodak M1033 camera. It hasn't arrived yet but when it does I will surely take another warranty thru Square Trade. The warranties from Square Trade are very reasonable and are better and cheaper than you can get at a retail outlet. I highly recommend Square Trade for all your warranty needs. They are a top shelve company with a no hassle commitment to their customers. I have nothing but praise for the Square Trade team.

They kept sending the item in for repairs that never fixed the problem. SquareTrade, in contrast, was all about making me whole and made good on their warranty for a cell phone in short order. Squaretrade is all I use these days, and with their accidental damage coverage option, I am set for all situations. Now I can enjoy all my tech toys without worry.A major value added, for a very small price.

(More customer reviews)You can buy a warranty from Square Trade for for what ever electronics you have, even for a used item on Ebay ! They have drop and spill warranty too that you can add. It is very easy, they keep everything online for you. If you subscribe to their newsletter they often have discounts. I just had a camera failing, they replied to my email the next day, offered me a shipping label to print to send my camera, and 2 or 3 days after, sent me an email saying they were going to reimburse me the price of my camera on my Paypal account. A few more days after, it's done and I can buy another, newer camera. Thanks Square Trade.

I filed a claim and they approved my claim promptly. I am very happy with them and always going to buy their warranty with Accidental drop for electronics. If I would have bought a regular warranty, I could not claim against the damage .

(More customer reviews)Square Trade is fast and at a good price. I recommend this for all Digital Cameras because you never know what will go wrong with them. I had a Canon and the LCD screen went out after 8 months. What a pain it was to get it repaired and then it only lasted 3 more months and the same thing happened. Not taking chances on a Digital Camera again no matter how good the reviews are. Thank you Square Trade for giving me Piece of mind!
Oh, it will not be good for DOA so get the Camera first and try it out to make sure it is working and then get the warranty. It will just back date to the day of purchase. No problem.
