I had a Canon and the LCD screen went out after 8 months. What a pain it was to get it repaired and then it only lasted 3 more months and the same thing happened. Not taking chances on a Digital Camera again no matter how good the reviews are. Thank you Square Trade for giving me Piece of mind!
Oh, it will not be good for DOA so get the Camera first and try it out to make sure it is working and then get the warranty. It will just back date to the day of purchase. No problem.
