But the reticle is dead on if your bullet is going the right muzzel velocity. After a lot of research on line and in stores, decided on this Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40. Only wanted to spend about $150, but wanted the best scope that $150 could buy. The BDC (bullet drop compensator) was a bonus. Saved about $20 buying on Amazon.com with free delivery and no sales tax. What a difference it makes to have a good quality rifle scope to go along with my Nikon Monarch binoculars. Amazon.com is my favorite on-line store.
