Use it this deer season on 300wsm and shooting 300yds no problem. Use it for varmit hunting to see if it would meet varmit specs. it did and some. Great for early morning and late evewning. I will be buying another one real soon.

Nikon pulls out all the stops with the monarch riflescope line. With 90 years of sport optics experience in its pocket, Nikon has engineered its Monarch flagship riflescope line to overcome many of the limiting factors common to many of today\'s riflescopes—and to challenge the limits of optical science, as well.Nikon designed the Monarch around a new optical system created to give shooters increased versatility and superlative performance with virtually any type of rifle, in any caliber and in any imaginable hunting situation. While still maintaining the American-preferred one-inch diameter main body tube, Nikon engineers developed the new Monarch series to not only provide the shooter with a big, bright, sharp sight picture, but at the same time minimize the overall length of the riflescope—and maximize the mount ring spacing capability.
