(More customer reviews)I bought this bag for my Canon digital eos xti. It fits very well.
The only con for this bag is that the front buckle can be somewhat cranky sometimes (you have to slide it in just so or it won't click) and I'm worried about it breaking. Even if the buckle does break, my camera will still be safe because there is a zipper around the pocket, but sometimes it's nice to let the camera bag just hang from the camera strap rather than using the longer bag strap.
It fits a 300 mm zoom lens, so it can accommodate a pretty good range. You just have to choose which lens you want to bring with you and leave it attached.
It is small enough that you don't feel conspicuous lugging it around, but it does protect the camera well. Pockets fit uv lens filter, batteries, memory cards, usb cable. No space for extra lenses. It's a great bag for travel.

Caselogic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I had originally bought the Case Logic SLR-1Z Zoom Holster to accommodate my D70 with attached Tamron 28-300 lens, however I found that case had too small of an opening for my camera. So I got the SLRC-201 Zoom and it is much better, the differences between the two cases are:
SLRC-201
1) Larger opening, camera slips in and out with ease.
2) Main compartment zipper is easier to operate.
3) Hammock suspension system is a better design.
4) Base is sturdier and made of better material.
5) Strap is a little longer.
SLR-1Z
1) Strap pad is thicker.
2) Extra pocket on inside flap cover.
3) Although the main zipper is difficult to open, it seems to be more water proof.
4) Has option for belt attachment.
Both of these cases are very well made and great for cameras with attached lenses, if you have a smaller SLR then the 1Z will work for you, however the 201 is much better for a larger SLR camera, hope this helps with your decision.

(More customer reviews)I don't write many reviews, but feel compelled to do so in this case because I found a number of the other reviews either ambiguous or contradictory. I just couldn't find a clear and simple description of EXACTLY what this case can comfortably hold, and ended up waiting far longer than I needed to before I felt comfortable enough to order this case. I really wish that I hadn't waited, because it turns out that this is a nice case that holds a great deal. Hopefully this review will help others who want a clear understanding of the capacity of the case.
In simple terms, the main compartment of this case easily and comfortably holds: A Nikon D3000 or D5000 with the 18-55mm lens attached, a 55-200mm lens, and the battery charger and AC cord. All you need to do is remove and reconfigure the partitions so that you use two of the partitions to create three sections within the main compartment. Simple as that. If you don't want to store your camera with the lens attached, no problem, that works as well, and will even create a touch more free space within the main compartment.
The front zippered pocket can store the camera's shoulder strap, the video cable, the USB cable, and several SD cards. It might hold a little more, but that's all that I have in there. There are also two small side pockets that can hold extra SD cards or other small, fairly flat items of your choosing. For those that really want to carry the manual around, there is room for it to rest on top of the main compartment. The top of the case will easily fold over it and buckle closed with no problem.
Hopefully that helps. No guesswork, no speculation. Just a factual report of what this case comfortably holds. In short, I think that this is a great case for the Nikon D3000 or D5000. It's well constructed and comfortable to carry, and although I haven't viewed it yet, the DVD seems to be a valuable bonus.
