There is no such thing as the perfect camera bag. What may be perfect for some will undoubtedly be all wrong for someone else. Not only are camera bags not perfect, but they can never be perfect all the time. Like luggage, camera bags fit the occasion.
I bought my Canon Powershot G11 at the same time as this bag. I have another Lowepro bag so I was already familiar with Lowepro quality. I believe my G11 fits the bag perfectly -- not too tight, not too loose. When you open the latched cover, you will find a pocket in front that will accommodate two SD cards. The case will not hold anything else like an extra battery or flash. For these items you either need a bigger bag or try putting them in a pocket. For me, I would rather put these extras in a pocket to keep the bag small.
The bag has a snap-closed belt loop and another smaller slot for a thin belt such as a man's dress belt. The bag itself will not fit a neck strap, but I attached the Canon WS20 Wrist Strap to the right strap slot on the camera and can store the strap under the front flap when closed. This arrangement makes it very easy to quickly remove the camera with strap around your wrist.
Finally, I would like to comment on the bags conservative good looks. I would have no problem hanging this bag from my shoulder when wearing a suit -- I'm thinking this camera and this bag would be a great combination to bring to a wedding or graduation. Of course, the Canon Powershot G11 is just an all around great camera for many an occasion! The G11 is well covered here at Amazon in many a glowing review.
