(More customer reviews)The IR panel has a spring-loaded locking pin that locks into the hot-shoe of the camera. My D300 has a recess hole that this pin falls into, making it near impossible to remove by pulling it back out. I was forced to pull up on the top side of the pin to unseat it. I have since took a metal file and filed the pin down to a more manageable size. Otherwise, the IR panel works great and I do not have to worry about exposure from the pop-up flash. Worth the investment.
