I purchased these items since I thought the price was right, and I needed units like these. I felt that even if two of the receivers did not work I would still have two receivers for at least two light systems. (I live in Trinidad and Tobago, its not easy to return non-working stuff to the USA). When I tested the devices, I was pleasantly surprised. They all worked well and have been working well so far. I cannot vouch for consistent reliability, since reasonable use over time would be the only way to judge these items. They are of course, designed for manual operations so no real TTL here. I encountered one problem. One of the receivers would not work on the default frequency. However, having changed the frequency of all units, via the channel selector, they all responded adequately. I found that the units operated (actually synced) even with my camera (D80) in the TTL flash mode. They are worth the price. I hope that I can say this after 6 months or so of regular use.
