I brought this case for the Panasonic LX5 base on the dimension posted here on Amazon. The dimensions given are external and the walls of the case is very thick. The LX5 can BARELY squeeze in and almost imposstible to take it out. If your device fits this case, then I can highly recommand this over the zipper take cases. The zipperless design can saves you alot of LCD scratches!

I use a canon T1i for timelapse and video, and really push rapid shooting. I have used it on a mountain in snow and moonlight at 14 degrees, and only once encountered a small buffer window on a long video take at 1080p. It works great, I have never had problems with Sandisk cards, they help me make a living at shooting. I also use Ultra II cards, and only notice the smallest of time difference writing to the card in camera. Loading to the computer data from the card does take longer then the ultra, but unless you need to dump data fast this one is fine and cost less. I would go for storage size over file transfer to computer speeds anytime.

SanDisk Extreme III - Flash memory card - 32 GB - Class 10 - SDHC Review

SanDisk Extreme III - Flash memory card - 32 GB - Class 10 - SDHC

I am upgrading from A-DATA 16GB Turbo 150X Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Class 6 Memory Card - Retail Package using a Pentax K200D 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with Shake Reduction (Body Only). The increase in performance is obvious from the first picture taken. RAW pictures are written to the card in less than a second. The camera does not hesitate due to the card when taking photos in RAW mode unless they are truly "rapid fire" photographs. This card writes RAW images as fast as the old card wrote JPEG files. In JPEG mode, the card speed doesn't become an issue until many (8+) rapid fire pictures are taken. In both cases, the camera flushes all pictures in around 3 seconds. The old card would take 15 seconds to flush the camera.
This card isn't cheap, but I can totally recommend it. It is both fast and large (over 1900 RAW pics, I would guess 5,000 JPEG pics). I totally believe in RAW. What is the point of the $1500 zoom or $500 prime lens if the detail is never saved to memory? RAW gives you far more editing and photo recovery options than JPEG. Taking JPEG photos with a cheap card is like putting a cheap non-coated UV filter on your expensive lens. Take a laptop/netbook and something like HP SimpleSave 2 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive HPBAAD0020HBK-NHSN (Gloss Black) and you are all set to take as many RAW pictures as you want.
Update May 13, 2010: Upgraded to Pentax K-7 14.6 MP Digital SLR with Shake Reduction and 720p HD Video (Body Only) camera. This card provides benefits over the lesser A-data cards, namely an extended RAW burst mode. Camera can capture roughly 1300 RAW or roughly twice as many in the best JPEG mode. In raw mode, camera took 15 pictures in full burst mode, then took 5 pictures in roughly 3-4 fps, and then was able to take pictures continuously at 2 frames per second (in RAW, with full memory). Camera took 10 seconds to write the buffer to the card. In comparison, the A-data card took 14 pictures in full burst mode, and then slowed down to approximately 0.66 fps (or 2 frames in approximately 3 seconds). It took about 15 seconds to write the buffer to the card. If you take fast action photos, this card in the Pentax K7 essentially gives you an extended burst mode feature. When shooting video, this card gives a similar speed increase when flushing the recording due to pause, which can be essential if you need to rapidly start it back unexpectedly. I have a second one of these cards on order.
I also have a point and shoot class Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Black), and this card provides little benefit for this camera. The JPEG files it writes are less than 5MB so the extra speed isn't noticed. The AVCHD encoding removes the need for speed when shooting HD video. I use A-DATA 32 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card 32GSDHC6 (Blue) with this camera with no issues. You won't be happy if you put it in your SLR and try to shoot raw or record MPEG encoded HD video, as the K7 does. The A-Data 32GB card is actually slower than the 16GB A-data card referenced at the beginning of this review. For .JPEG cameras which have AVCHD capability, the A-DATA 32GB card is a cheap alternative with generous storage capacity (over 6000 pictures on largest and finest picture mode, or over 4 hours of HD video at maximum resolution and quality).
Tip for maintaining memory card speed: Once you have copied all the photos from your card to your computer or storage device, format the card in the camera you are going to use it in using the camera menus. This provides two benefits: all fragmentation is eliminated because you are starting out with a brand new file system with no data in it (filesystems with all files deleted can still suffer from directory and file allocation table fragmentation). Secondly, the camera will optimize the file system parameters (such a sector size) to work the most effectively for that camera. The SD card may take longer to copy to the computer, but that is OK: the important thing is to be able to have top performance in the camera. In-computer performance may be traded off for faster camera performance.

We bought this memory card after reading ratings and reviews with the intent of using it for family functions and our kids' sports events. It as been used almost weekly, and sometimes daily, since April 2010, so about 6 months. It has been flawless until recently, when the little locking clip broke off. We taped the location so the card could be read and written on, which has worked just fine. We will certainly purchase this product again if ever needed.

So far I've had no trouble with this card, but I am not happy with the product description which is incorrect. The current description reads:
"15MB/s Read/Write"
This is false. I was a bit disappointed when I saw on the item's package that 15 MB/s only referred to read speeds, with only 9 MB/s write speeds. That's still reasonably fast -- although I've seen other reviews which state that when tested the cards do not reach those max values, but I haven't tested mine.
Also, unclear from the description (and even the literature on the SanDisk site), is the fact that this is a Class 4 device. That is important to know for many devices such as HD camcorders, but not clearly indicated.

UPDATE 9-10 I own 4 of these cards now. I have more of these than any other card I own because they are a very good value for capacity/price/and speed. My initial disappointment over the lack of super high speed is outweighed by the reality that this card is an exceptional value.
If you own a compact digital camera, or SD/HD video camera, this card will exceed the capabilities of all of them. For compact cameras the card isn't usually the slowest part of the data write process, it's the camera.
This card unloads very quickly with a 20MB/s read speed. You will need a SDHC card reader if you don't have one. A standard SD card reader will not read a HC (high capacity) card.
These cards make great gifts. I have given several of the 8 Gig cards as gifts and have received appreciation and great comments from all the recipients.
UPDATED REVIEW:
I purchased this card making the assumption that all class 10 cards had the same read and write speed. This was a poor assumption on my part. In order for a card to qualify for class 10 speed the card needs to be certified to have 10MB/s write and read speed. Some manufacturers classify their cards at a slower speed even though they qualify for a higher class. SanDisk make some cards that would qualify for class 10 and rates them as class 6.
The product photo on Amazon does not have the card's speed printed on it. The card that was shipped shows the front of the card printed with "20MB/s" which is the cards read speed. The cards write speed is 16MB/s.
I own a SanDisk Extreme III class 10 card that has (up to) 30MB/s read and write speed. My Nikon D-90 that can take advantage of the SanDisk cards speed. The difference is the SanDisk card can capture 100 photos at fine resolution in 24 seconds. The Transcend card captures 66 photos in the same time/resolution.
I reality very few people will ever have the need to drill off 100 photos in 24 seconds, but I can't stand to lose a good shot because the camera is slow while writing to the card and I can't fire the shutter. You can hear this happen at about 4.5 seconds in the video review. This does not happen with the SanDisk class 10 30MB/s card. If you own an SLR that is capable of rapid fire, high-resolution photography you may want to consider the SanDisk Extreme III 30 MB/s card. It is expensive. This card is reasonably priced for a class 10 card. Just know what you are getting, what your needs may be, and what else is available. I own other Transcend cards and they have always worked properly without any issues.
The video that I attached shows this card with the same 24 seconds that I gave the SanDisk Card.
