(More customer reviews)I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research on tripods which was very fustrating and time consuming. Most of the reviews that I read were mixed and no one tripod stood out as being good. A professional photographer recommended this one for beginners. His point was that why gamble with a cheapo $35 tripod to support your $700 + camera? Point well taken! I went with this one hoping that I will get what I paid for; A good tripod that will last a long time and not fall apart after a few uses. It seems sturdy so far.
I will point out that it does not have any "Bubble Levels". Also, the LCD Screen on my Nikon D5000 does not fold down all the way due to the mounting plate location on the tripod.
