(More customer reviews)I wanted a tripod easier to travel with than my Manfrotto. The 7100 packs up nice and is very good quality. The three-way head lets me get all the angles I want. On this particular one the quick release head is a little awkward but seems to get better with use. The problem is probably not as noticable with an SLR but I am using a very small digital camera with this tripod.
