I purchased one of these to use with my N80 and D90 to use with my eye and so that I can get my glasses out of the way. It slid on to the camera just fine. I tried to attach the DK-21 to it and the DK-21 would not fit. I whipped out a set of calipers to check the size of the grooves compared to that on the camera. I noticed that the overall width is slightly wider (0.99" on the diopter, 0.94" on the camera). I also noticed that the grooves were only about 0.05" wide and the tabs that slide into this on the DK-21 were 0.06" thick. I was able to correct the issue with an emery board. I had to trim the width to make it work with the Hoodman Eyecup (H-EyeN22)
Overall, does what it advertised.
I would have given it a 5 star if it worked out of the box, otherwise it works great.
