(More customer reviews)Excellent 77mm filter, easily (and firmly) holds a standard Nikon lens cap in the front threads. Quality is great, arrived new as stated, no blemishes or defects on the glass or on the ring. Precision threading works well when mounting onto the lense, no binding or early tightening. No discernable distortion was noticed when using a 17-35mm 2.8 on a FF Nikon body. Costs more than the slim version without front threads, but this small cost difference is better than constant reseating, or dropping and losing a loose fitting cap. May swap this filter back & forth on a few different lenses for a while (as I save up for the next one :-)
I'll update this review if things change, but the initial impression is very good.
