(More customer reviews)I have a Canon 7D and when taking video on the camera you have to use the back to see what you are shooting, but in daylight it is almost impossible to see what you are looking at. The Hoodman by strapping it on the camera gives me the ability to at least see what I am doing, but the main reason I purchased it was that many times when I have been out shooting I get home only to discover that my photo is not as picture perfect as I thought it was. I now look at what I shot with the Hoodman and if it isn't right I can take it again immediately to get it the way I want it. It has made a big difference in the amount of "Oh darn"s" I have when I get home. I love it. However my one gripe is paying the extra money for the piece of rubber to hold it on and the small case that is supposed to hold the Hoodman. It is a struggle getting it in and out.
