(More customer reviews)After reading the limited number of reviews on the Stratos Proflip 90, majority of them negative, I came across one on buzzillions that made me give this a try and I'm glad I did. This is not something I will use very often, so I wasn't excited about spending $250+ on similar models with better reviews. I like that when you flip the camera, it keeps the lens in the exact same place. It does require assembly when it arrives and they do not provide instructions on how to assemble, so it took me a little while to figure it out. And then you also need to make some minor screw adjustments so it can be flipped smoothly. Some of the adjustable pieces did not want to stay in place very well, which was annoying while shooting an event, but I'll just have to figure it out before the next time I use it and probably bring a tightening tool with me. You will also need an off camera flash sync cord, so don't forget to buy one.

The Stratos ProFlip 90 Bracket is a camera-flip bracket, with a full 10.25" clearance between the base plate and the top flash bracket. The bracket is held comfortably in the left hand, leaving the right hand free to operate camera functions. The flip action is smooth and precise. The anti-fatigue, non-slip contour foam grip is very comfortable, designed with the working professional in mind. Both the camera mount and the flash mounts are adjustable, making it compatible with all standard SLR cameras. The all-metal shoe has a built-in quick release, but can also be removed, for use with 1/4"-20 threaded flash accessories.
