(More customer reviews)I wanted an affordable pair or Binoculars with zoom for a trip to the mountains in Colorado (which was cancelled, by the way!) and finally decided on the Olympus Trooper 8-16x40. I've been an Olympus fan for a long time, so the excellent optics were no surprise! The focusing and zoom are smooth and simpe. For general purposes, including amature bird-watching this is a very nice pair: bright, enough magnification/zoom within a comfortable size and weight. Excellent piece of work from Olympus.
