(More customer reviews)Considering the price, this bag is of great value for a quality product. It is exactly what I was looking for. I have a larger backpack camera bag which also takes a computer, camera, several lens, flash and extras. Great for travel but once I am at my destination, I was looking for a small bag for day hikes. This bag does the job and has room for my 18-200 zoom on the camera and a flash or smaller second lens plus room for a spare battery or two.
The bag is reasonably well padded, not as much as the backpack, but enough to give me a feeling that my camera is reasonably well protected.
The back I ordered listed it for an Olympus but it also appears to be listed many times for different DSLR cameras. It would seem to be the same bag and can be used for a variety of cameras. I am using it with a Nikon D3100 and very pleased with the fit.
The bag is well made, good quality and exceeded my expectations considering the very reasonable price.
I am not using the shoulder strap that comes with the bag, rather I am using the camera strap to eliminate a strap and to ensure the camera is secure. I use a simple beaner clip to connect the bag around the camera strap allowing me to shoot without having to set the bag down. A good solution. The bag will also flatten down enough to put into my back back or clip on the outside with the same beaner clip.
I highly recommend this bag for a nice walking around solution when you do not need all your gear to save weight and bulk.
