(More customer reviews)My D40 battery charger wasn't marked to accept European voltage, so I went looking for an alternative. This charger does the job very well. It's a bit flimsy, but for the price what can you expect?
The only major issue is that the standard Nikon battery wouldn't fit in the charger. For some reason, it wouldn't stay put (you probably could tape it in there or something), so I used this charger only to recharge my extra generic batteries from Amazon, which work just as well.
This is a great budget option if you need a 220v charger, but if you're staying in the States or only own Nikon-branded batteries, look elsewhere.
