(More customer reviews)Well, like I said it does what it is supposed to do, and at a savings of over $160.00 over Nikon's ML 3, I am not complaining. The only things to keep in mind. This requires 2 AAA batteries for the remote and a 6V for the receiver. Also, for the life of me, I can not get the receiver to stay tight in the hot shoe, but whatever. It fires from all directions, but the distance is limited to about 25-30 feet. For most people I sure that is enough. I needed if for my HDR work-flow and it works perfectly for that.
When it comes down to it, it is less than 1/4 the price of Nikon's and does everything it is supposed to. No brainer in my opinion.

Jenis Infrared Wireless Controller provides the same basic function as the original manufacturer's product, such as short to medium distance remote control, trigger and delayed shutter release\'etc. There are two user selectable channels to prevent interference from the other IR controller nearby. The shutter button has two steps enable the AF on the first step and release shutter on the second step just like the camera's shutter button.
