(More customer reviews)This little guy won't replace a tall, sturdy tripod under all conditions, but it will probably be more than adequate for 75%+ of your needs for your small, light-weight camera. This tripod can fit in a jacket pocket or purse and will assume just about any position you need in order to snap a steady picture. Holds position well in horizontal position. Wraps around objects (e.g., tree branch) securely. I recommend purchasing a flexible Velcro strap in order to securely attach it to smooth or vertical objects (e.g., a round, metal fence post). It Has a removable plate for quick attachment to your camera-this is a nice professional feature. Take care to anchor it in wind or at extreme camera angles - it may tip over if "off balance" and not firmly attached to a stable object. Overall - a great, compact photographer's tool.
