(More customer reviews)If you're rushing to catch a shot and you put the lens cap down somewhere, then go back and can't find it, this cap is for YOU! I usually would stick the cap in my back pocket, but when I didn't have a pocket I'd place it somewhere "obvious" - obviously not being able to find it again.
This cap releases by pinching in the center and has a VERY secure lasso that you "loop" to the camera strap where it meets the camera, and is long enough that it doesn't in any way interfere with the use or view of the camera at any angle. It is FAR SUPERIOR to the "lens keepers" that only stick to the lens (to me that doesn't meet the definition of "secure"). The stick-on keepers also tend to have short lassos.
This pinch-center cap is quick and easy to remove - even with a LENS HOOD attached to the camera! Just pinch the cap and let it drop!
This cap with keeper is well worth the price! The only suggestion I would have is that they deepen the rim so that you can "feel" it snap on. It goes on, but sometimes you're not sure it's on, but it's definitely on. And if not, and it falls, guess what - it doesn't hit the ground!
This pinch-center lens cap is awesome! Definitely, if you love photography and take lots of pictures (especially of children where you have to act fast), this cap is essential.

These new lens caps have several important advantages over the regular snap-on cap. They have no ears to accidentally knock the lens cap off. They can be squeezed from the outside or using the inner recessed opening. In addition, they have a built-in lens cap leash to prevent loss.
