*Pros: *helps to get more great shots. Has two positions: half way focuses and meters, full squeeze snaps the shutter.
*Cons:* Needs a simpler clip to quickly and securely attach and remove from flash bracket. One of these should be offered for the Nikon D90 model. I adapted one of these to work on my D90's.

*Bottom Line: *Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Quality and performance are very good. I've used it on 3 wedding shoots and a couple of fundraiser events thus far.
I would say that I wish it did not have to be disassembled from the flip bracket for it all to fit back into the bracket carry case. I also wish it did not require a couple of screwdrivers or similar devices to tighten the small attachment screw. I just use my fingernail......and the male/female barrel screw thingy gets loose every couple of hours.... I should tighten better, but I don't. The included rubber flat washer helps absorb some of the looseness.
