(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a camera for photography class, this could quite possibly be the best choice out there. It is almost identical to the incredible Nikon FM3a but for a lot less money. It is a much better camera than a Pentax K1000 (which is by the way a pretty good camera) with the added advantage that it can be used in Auto mode.
The FE is considered by Nikon expert Ken Rockwell to be one of the best manual focus cameras ever made (check out his website under Recommended cameras- Real Cameras- Nikon FE) and the fact that there are still so many being used daily is a testament to its ruggedness and reliability.
