Our camera is the Nikon Coolpix S550 and is used for taking many photos of jewelry that my wife designs and makes, we were going through batteries like breathing air. Since using this AC adapter no battery changes and recharges are necessary and this will significantly lengthen the life of the many real batteries we have. The cord is nice and long and the transformer is small and lightweight.
