I purchased it for my Remington 700 ADL and have spent two different days shooting with it. The optics are clear and even in low light situations the scope makes it look like full daylight when sighting on the target. The eye box technology makes high power shooting a dream.
The fact that it comes with almost $200 worth of accessories makes the higher price a bargain. (Two full sets of tall turrets and the sunshade are included.)
The main reason that I am writing this review is to make potential buyers aware of a solution to a problem that I had with this excellent scope. I could not get the scope aligned to where I had symmetrical windage adjustment with the turret. In my ignorance I returned the scope and replaced it with the same model, thinking that I had a defective scope.
That was far from reality; I had an adjustment problem with the mounting on the gun. Apparently the mount screw holes are slightly skewed to where the scope sits angled to the right on this gun. I have since found a solution to that problem and regret returning the original scope.
The solution is windage adjustable scope rings. There is an excellent selection of that type of ring here on Amazon; search: Millett 2 Extension Smooth Steel Angle-Loc Windage Adjustable Ring (I now see that they are out of stock) or at millet themselves; [...].
A simple and elegant solution to a problem that would cause a buyer to return a perfectly good scope when in fact it was a physical mounting problem with the gun itself.
Again, this scope is a fine product and I would recommend it to anyone.
