(More customer reviews)If you need a good LCD screen protector for your Nikon D5000, I would recommend this one. This one is designed for the Nikon D5000-no cutting to fit. It isn't a flimsy plastic film. It is a hardened piece of glass. Since I put it on the screen, I haven't worried about scratches or how I'm going to wipe off the smudges. Yes, it is a little thicker and you won't be able to close the LCD screen all the way, but I can still use the swivel LCD screen in all other ways. If you bought the camera just to spin the screen around to close it, this isn't for you. I think this protector helps prolong the screen life because I'm not always spinning the screen around and let's be honest, how many time have you forgotten to spin it closed anyways?
I first ordered another product that said it was the hardened glass and got a flimsy piece of plastic. This is a hardened glass and doesn't bend. It sticks around the edge of the screen and there are NO air bubbles to deal with.
This is the best screen protector that I found for the Nikon D5000.
