(More customer reviews)Every time I snap the battery into the charger it pops back out. The space into which the battery goes is oddly designed: the end where the contacts are is vertical, which is as it should be, but the other end is angled. So, while you can snap the battery in and see that the spring-loaded contacts are firmly against the battery contacts, the other end of the battery is barely held in place because there's hardly any vertical surface for that end of the battery to hold on to.
No wonder it's sold so cheap! But this demonstrates a great method for dumping defective products. Return shipping would cost more that the product.
I was able to keep the battery in place long enough to charge only by wrapping a rubber band around it a few times to hold the battery in place. BTW, the battery is a stock Nikon battery for an S220.
