(More customer reviews)I am still a novice with dSLRs and I was looking for a lens to bring me out of kit lenses catagory and provide better range for wildlife photograhy. Best of all, the price was well below the cost of a similar Nikon lens, with VR.
Overall, I am very please. I live within a few miles of a national wildlife refuge and as soon as the lens arrived, I took it to the refuge for a test run and I was pleased with the results. I am still not sure if I want to take the lens on trail hikes, but the images are sharp, the color is good and I did not need to spend a great deal of time in Photoshop correcting lens error. For the price, you can't beat it.
