I ordered this on the 22nd and received it on the 26th! Well constructed, wired or RF remote. A receiver, transceiver, batteries and short cable included.
There are small dip switches to switch channels - mine arrived with a yellow plastic covering over the dip switches. Use a very pointed knife or Exacto blade to remove the yellow covering. DO NOT pry around the edge of the dip switches, I popped the covering off and had to reassemble the switch covering plate and plastic switch selectors.
Playing around with the remote I fired over 200 shots on my Olympus E-30 and it never missed a shot up to 150 feet away with a house in between! The antenna was fully extended.
Both units use a half press to wake and focus the camera. LEDs on both units signal when activated and focused. A full press for a single shot. I set my E-30 into sequential shooting mode, pressed the button and it began firing away - another press stopped the camera. You can also set the transceiver into a 5 sec delay before firing the shutter. The receiving unit can be used with the cable as a cable remote even without the battery.
