(More customer reviews)After reading negative reviews on polarizers costing up to 4 times as much, I decided that I might as well give this one a shot. Unit seems to be well built and rotates smoothly. Under a magnifying glass I did find one very tiny surface flaw but it does not appear to affect image quality. No distortion noted in the glass. Filter is not too dark and only reduces F-stop by about 1 1/3rd. When held in front of computer monitor and rotated 90 degrees, image goes totally black so I know its doing what it is supposed to do. Outside, it does cut glare and reflections on glazing nicely.
I'm not a professional photographer so I can't really compare the actual quality of the polarization of this filter against the high dollar ones. But if you are shopping 37mm filters, you are not likely a professional photographer either so why spend 3 to 5 times as much for a filter that will give essentially the same results as this one.
