It can easily be attached to things (such as the inside of a bag or your belt), and is thick enough to protect the camera from relative hits and bumps. A good buy overall, although if you would rather have something very small and slim, you might look elsewhere, but i personally keep it in my backpack, so it's exactky what i needed.
