(More customer reviews)An interesting product that comes with limited documentation. It is quite clever, allowing you to charge many different batteries, but it is not completely intuitive. You must slide the contacts until they fit your battery, an action not well explained in the manual. It does, however, work as advertized, at least with my Coolpix battery. It seems as though it would work on most flat, rectangular battery packs, whether from a cell phone or camera. No other shapes, though, so universal is a bit hyperbolic. I gave it four stars for perfoming as advertized (i.e., it charges batteries in my car and from a powered USB connection; presumably it would work fine with an AC/usb adapter), but lost a star for the poor documentation.
