(More customer reviews)Was pleased to find that this is a thick and sturdy cable with an easy to operate shutter button. Focus on half press, lockable for bulb mode. I own the original Nikon ML-L3 infrared remote, it is a hassle to use because the ir receiver on the camera (D80) has such a limited working angle. This shutter will however work from any angle, without idle timeouts. The extensive length of the cable enables you to wander round your studio and hold reflectors etc while releasing the shutter. Props to Cowboystudio for keeping the product packaging to a green minimum.
